13. The Living Shadow, The Villager Kingdom’s.

Jumping from a cliff there was a man wearing light-blue shirt and purple pants while he wore a shining boots.

The man was Steve who quickly positioned himself to once again launch himself with the fireworks as he was wearing an elytra.

"Hm? What's that? A kingdom?" Steve muttered as he saw a huge kingdom with a lot of villagers inside.

He pulled out a water bucket as he prepared for a free fall.

*Tsssh*

When he landed, two guards with diamond swords have their blade near Steve's neck.

"Identify yourself!" The guard command.

"Steve, the player?" Steve said.

The one who asked Steve the question began whispered to the other guard to get someone.

The other guard began lowering his blade and then quickly ran inside.

"So you're the legendary Steve? The one who accomplished impossible feat?" The guard asked.

"Precisely, I'm him." Steve answered.

"Very well, let's just wait for the '13 Supreme Villagers' to come!"

"Alright do as you wish while I am cooking right here."

Steve sat down on the ground as he pulled out a few smoker, bunch of coals and a ton of meats.

He put the coals and the meats inside the smoker and wait for a while.

"What is that?" Said one of the players that saw two bright eyes inside the dark forest.

"Uh… guys! I found a strange two bright eyes inside the forest and my guts is telling me something's bad gonna happen!" He shouted trying to warn his friends who just ignored him.

"Well I'm not taking any chan-" He mutters before he get splitted in half by a strange shadow tantacle.

"Huh? He die-" All the players inside the base was suddenly slashed into small cube of meats.

"I can sense the boss power albeit a bit weak, he must have been weakened through rebirth like me… don't worry my lord I'll present these useless players life as an offering to you!" The creature of darkness and void are laughing maniacally.

Null using his own ability at controlling darkness are creating his own army of darkness out of his shadowy body.

"The slaughter has just begun!"

Steve was sitting there with the guard as both of them were chilling and eating steak, cooked mutton, cooked chicken and baked potato.

"Is that the person who claimed to be Steve?" A voice erupted from inside the closed gate as it slowly opened.

After that it revealed 13 villagers wearing clothes similar to that of a king but have been personally modified to fit into their profession.

There was a handful of villagers soldier and a ton of normal Iron Golem and also the one Steve remembered designing for someone he knew in the past.

"Steve, it sure is you, old friend." The weaponsmith villager spoke as if they had met before.

"Don't tell me… Nicholas?" Steve asked standing up.

"Oh? I didn't expect you to remember me as the last time we met were at least more than 2 Billion years ago." The Weaponsmith smiled in response.

'His smile although are similar to the original pacifist smile he used to have, right now he's a monster who have fought against countless enemies and his eyes hold the same feeling as a warrior. Impressive.' Steve was impressed at the sight of a once weak, frail and pacifist Villager.

"You really managed to build my personally designed golem huh? That must be extremely hard." (Steve)

"Not really, thanks to the new discoveries of our Supreme-level Alchemist aka the 'Philosopher Stone'" (Nicholas)

"What is this 'Philosopher Stone' thingy?" (Steve)

"Its an item that allow the wielder to transmute item into another item." (Nicholas)

"So?" (Steve)

"We basically transmute a lot of our materials into this horde of golems and thanks to the new profession of Machinist Villager, they helped us use less resources and alter some of your golem designs to fit our current quality of resources." (Nicholas)

"It seems that these villagers have evolved, you guys aren't that passive anymore but rather neutral. I wonder what have they done to tick you off?" (Steve)

"So you have noticed?" (Nicholas)

"I know the presence of a player when I see one and also their nametag is shown."

Steve pointed at the ground where everyone could see the dark gray rectangular shape.

"Ah- well, anyway, please enter our villager kingdom!" (Nicholas)

"I still remember when this place were just an average badly generated village that have a few houses on a cliff while other ob the ground and somehow there's also a few of houses that went into underground. Ah~ the good old days." (Steve)

"Reminiscing of the old days is useless my dear friend, we could just march forward to the unknown future." (Nicholas)

'They have evolved quite the combat-based abilities.' (Steve)

"By the way, I couldn't see that kid, what do I name him again? Joseph? You know the one always blabbering about going on an adventure! Oh wait- I don't think that kid originate from your village…" (Steve)

"Yeah, I don't remember anyone with the name of Joseph other than a single person that wasn't a villager here." (Nicholas)

"Who is it?" (Steve)

"The Wandering Trader, Joseph. He occasionally comes here for trade and he are one of the biggest sources of income and the person who we usually give errands for items that we don't have for. He's a very capable young lad." (Nicholas)

'I need to get used to this world…' (Steve)
