Chapter 1 - Lost and Found

Charmaine, Gabriel, and their families finally got back to the palace as they started to continue their preparation for the wedding and everyone became so busy. On the other hand, Uriel notice the noise outside his room realising how busy everyone is with the preparation for the grand royal wedding. With his heart in so much pain, he decided to do the same as Charmaine did and changed his name to Dominic, and he erased some of his own memories and hid his pearl, although without the pearl, he still has his powers as an angel. His parents came to bring him food to his room but saw that he is not there, so they tried to look for him and contact him but no response and no where to be found. They asked one of the angels if he can check where Prince Michael is, but only saw the part where he left the palace but could not read his mind, and everything else was blurry when trying to see the past. Then he realised that Prince Michael can block their abilities to read his mind, as well as look into his past. His parents started to get worried and they went to look for Charmaine and told them what happened. They went to check his closet and drawers, but they are all empty. They then realised he ran away. Charmaine realised that he probably did the same thing, and realising it was all her fault, because she hurt his feelings, and even gave him idea to ran away because she did the same before, and now, Uriel did too. Tears from Charmaine's eyes started to fall and she wonders why she feels so sad and her eyes are crying.

Charmaine: *I know he is a special friend, an important asset, and I still care for him but why can't I control my eyes from tearing and I feel... argghhh! I don't want to lose him like this!* I am going to look for him.

Gabriel: My princess Charmaine, let's ask someone else to look for him instead. We can ask those who are not in patrol and available to look for him. Our wedding is tomorrow.

Charmaine: Don't worry, nothing bad will happen to me. I have the Mother Pearl and I am an angel.

Gabriel: Why do you insist?

Charmaine: Ah! Uhmmm.. I.. I am the princess, owner of this castle, and owner of the Mother Pearl. Prince Michael is still our army leader, the captain, and the strongest, I feel it is my responsibility and besides, this is also my fault. I won't feel comfortable if I let it be like this.

Gabriel: *You seem like you still love him so much, even though you are marrying me. It seems like you are scared to get hurt again, that is why you chose me.*

Charmaine: *It isn't like that! I chose you because I love you. Also, I got hurt because of you too, remember? We just came back today because I was missing, I ran away because of you. If you did not tell me the truth and did not find me, I won't be able to remember and come back here. So, please. I want to look for him, I need to. Even if you say no, I will look for him.*

Gabriel: *Please come back early for our wedding tomorrow. I love you, Charmaine.*

Charmaine: *I love you too, Gabriel.*

They kissed just before Charmaine leaves to look for Uriel. Uriel, with his name change, as well as appearance, it is hard to find him without a clue, unlike Charmaine, Gabriel remembered her telling him that she wants to study acting. This time, Uriel, who is now Dominic, decided to live at a villa near a beach, and he was there thinking alone trying to calm his heart with the sound of the waves and the feeling of the fresh air. Dominic prays if he can have a second chance to have Charmaine's heart again, and make her his and stop her wedding with Gabriel, it may be a selfish prayer and not sure if it will be answered but he asked for forgiveness and guidance, then tried to ask for the favour, and that it may be answered if he deserves it, or not if he don't. Dominic is on a holiday (vacation) to Maldives alone and buying a resort villa. Dominic only erased his memories of the other angels, and the palace, and some memories of his powers forgetting how to use some of them, as he cannot totally forget because he needs it to block or stop the other angels on finding him. Charmaine tried to connect to him before contacting him, and she was able to contact him using her powers.

Charmaine: Prince Michael, I finally got to contact you. Where are you?

Dominic: Huh? Who is Prince Michael, my name is Dominic, and how did you get to contact me?

Charmaine: I see you erased some memories of yours too, but good thing you still remember how to use your powers. Please tell me where are you right now, Dominic.

Dominic: I am in Maldives. Why? *Could this be an answer to my prayer that I will finally have a second chance to be with her; to be hers.*

Charmaine: Okay, I am coming. I came to pick you up. Everyone is worried, especially your parents.

Dominic: Ah. Go back where? My parents? Where are they? I want to stay here and this is my home now. I don't want to see you getting married to someone else. It hurts a lot, you know.

Charmaine: I am sorry, but I thought you will be happy without me because you have your best friend right? You were happy with her.

Dominic: No! How can I be happy without you? You may see me happy with her before, but please know that I am happier with you.

Charmaine: Please come back to the palace, our babies need you.

Dominic: The palace? Which palace? Also, isn't Gabriel acting as their new father now, since he will be their stepfather! If you want me back, then I also want you back, Charmaine. I need you back in my life, as my lover and wife.

Charmaine: I can't. I am getting married tomorrow.

Then Charmaine finally reached and found Dominic in Maldives sitting down at the hammock, half naked. Charmaine came closer to him but not much because she wants to avoid getting seduced by him again. Then Dominic stood up and came closer to her and started thinking about their past, reminsicing those days when they were still so in love with each other as husband and wife, even the time when Dominic taught her how to master her powers, as well as the time when he saved her from Lucy, and especially the moments when they were having passionate and intimate sex. Charmaine couldn't help reading his mind because Dominic was actually planning of seducing her by making her read his minds. Charmaine's tears started to fall again as she tried to stop herself from falling for Dominic again, and thought about Gabriel. The more she thought about her wedding with Gabriel in front of Dominic, the more painful it is and more tears started to fall.

Charmaine: *Why? Why am I feeling like this? Why I... No!! I can't be like this. Why is he doing this? Why is he seducing me like this? Now, I also remember what happened before and I... Arghhh! I need to go back, I am getting married tomorrow!* I am sorry, Dominic. I need to go back for now. I will see you again.

Dominic: Please don't tell anyone I am here, or else, you will never see me again, none of you will. *Even if it hurts so much. I am getting used to this pain anyways.*

Charmaine left and went back home to the palace. Gabriel saw her and asked what happened to her search, but she remained quiet and said she needs to be alone for a while. She needs time to think. Gabriel then wonders what happened and got curious because she seems to be so serious and really worried about Uriel. He then prayed hoping that Charmaine will be fine and will stop worrying, and that Charmaine still loves and will still love him.
