Chapter 22 - Great Show

The three of us gaped as we gazed at the ceiling of the club. The smoke was getting greater, we may now not see the streams shown on the ceiling, such as the lights and other things set there. Only smoke spread to the entire ceiling of the club. The ceiling isn't exceptionally high, so the smoke comes to over our heads. It has no scent, so we are not bleary eyed from the smoke that we see. After a while, Mabel and Alison begun shouting. "It might catch a fire!" Mabel exclaimed. Gong-Li chuckled. "Don't stress, it won't burn, fair observe," Gong-Li said. We were consoled by what he said, and we once more looked around. We saw the members fair gazing at the ceiling and they look scared, even being utilized of seeing it. Gong-Li said that the mythical dragon only comes out if there are new guests, and that's the three of us. Many questions are on our minds, but we can't inquire him since we are holding up to see the mythical dragon. I thought that this is not real, because there's no such thing in this world.

Maybe it's just a show, and it is spectacular. Eventually the noise we hear grows louder.

A very ferocious strange animal seemed to bark.

And we were shocked when we suddenly saw the dragon's tail swaying above the ceiling. Its skins are red with gold tinge. It landed in front of us which we feared. We are stuck in our position as we start to panic.

"Oh no!" We shouted.

Gong-Li tells us to stay calm and not to be afraid.

We will not be hurt.

We just believed what he said.

After a while, the dragon roared again, and this time its melody was different.

And we were shocked when we saw a fire, and it was only in the middle of the air and it does not reach us. Its head moves and emits fire, even with fire coming out of its mouth, we feel no heat. And if at first we were afraid,

And the smoke is getting thicker, and suddenly, the whole body of the dragon pierced out as its mouth spewing fire. In great fear, Alison hid under the table, and she pulled Mabel to hide with her, so Mabel hides as well. "Why are we hiding? I want to see that dragon, it's my first time to see it in my life, this is marvelous!" Mabel said to Alison.

"I don't want to see that, I'm scared, and do you think it's a real dragon, it's just fake!" Said Alison. "That's it, fake, why are you scared?"

"As long as it's fake, I don't want to see that, it's scary and disgusting!" Said Alison.

I was supposed to follow them under the table, but suddenly, Gong-Li stopped me.

"Don't!" He says.

"Why?" I asked.

"The dragon doesn't want you to be afraid of him, and you know what? Your friend's doing was a bad idea, it's…" said Gong-Li, but he couldn't continue what he was going to say.

"What?"

"For now, no question ask, are you scared?" Gong-Li asked me.

"I'm not scared,"

"Then, just watch, okay?"

"What about Alison and Mabel? They need to see it, but they were hiding from fear,"

"Let them be!" Gong-Li said and he told me to look at the dragon very carefully.

It floated drained in the air and it looks so authentic, even if it's looks so scary. I haven't scared at all, and I was astounded when it looked at me, and instead of being scared I stared at the dragon deeply.

And we stared each other. The dragon's head came close to mine and we faced each other closely. All the members were amazed while looking at me with the dragon, it said, it's rarely happened, Gong-Li was also bewildered as well.

I was just stunned by the dragon as I stared in amazement at its glaring large eyes. And later, it suddenly crept up and the ceiling gradually closed. The members applauded as the dragon gradually disappeared.

I saw Gong-Li is clapping and he motioned for me to clap as well. And I slowly clap my hands, until the ceiling finally closed and the dragon disappeared as well. The atmosphere returned to normal. Gong-Li has already let Alison and Mabel out from their hiding place.

"What a great show!" I exclaimed as I still clap my hands, I still in the state of amazement.
