A few minutes later, Quinlan was already standing in the middle of a wide plaza. He decided to skip breakfast altogether and visit the spot where the mysterious building appeared first, out of curiosity.
"So this is..."
He was staring right up at the giant structure from practically zero distance.
As he did see from afar, it was gigantic, with each side of the hexagonal cross-section roughly a hundred meters across. The building was made up of ten layers, with each layer sporting tiled roofs with a curved design.
The door on the first floor was shut tight, with the floors above it not having any doors or windows at all. At a glance, it was easy to tell it would be hard to get out of it after going in!
Quinlan knew that this pagoda had something to do with the contest, so he spent all the time he had studying its structure from afar. After all, it might be helpful for him later on.
