Chapter 8 – Defense.

Dungeon master modification to the Moving Mannequins proves to be a success, more monster started to die at their hands. Because of increase monster survival rate the need of continues use of miasma had decreased and thanks to that new floor was constructed soon after. Adventures kills monsters over and over to deplete miasma from dungeon, since monster creation is automatic it will deplete all the available miasma meaning as long as adventures kill all the monsters inside without dying, they can stop the grow of the dungeon. However, since monsters survival rate increase the problem got halted meaning that dungeon was with ease able to store miasma.

Other monsters started to notice the dungeon and started to conquer it and one by one they died inside of it.

One of well-known monsters around the world, they can appear latterly anywhere. They possess high potential when it comes to evolution, they possess countless form and Blue Slime is one of them. It is the first form the slime possesses and it will die when either the core that is functioning as it main organ breaks or when it loses too much slime.

Goblins are very cowardly but cunning creatures; they learn very fast and they possess high adaptation rate when facing different opponents or living in different terrains. They often steal tools and others stuff. They are one of the monsters that are capable of learning the classes, because of that some goblins with classes can have ranks between H – E.

A creature giant pair of teethes that resembles a bunnies but the front ones are extremely long, they uses these teethes to create sparks and set thing on fire, they are able of using simple fire type spells. They don't possess arms only a short legs, they using a shorts jumps to travel and have one giant spike a top of their head and on their knees, they can use them as weapon . The legs of the creature are attached from the sides.

Affinities : Demonic, Fire.

Puppet started to collect some of the belongings or parts of the bodies of the invaders. Brains of organs and bones, slimes ooze and cores, teethes, spikes and legs of Mug-Mugs.

He used these parts for his research. How exactly living body function? How does slime move? How is that wild creature able to use magic? When something breaks and he isn't able to use it anymore he just feed it to the dungeon core.

He used dungeon core to create a make shift laboratory room using miasma room was connected to a room where dungeon core is held. He had some puppet there but they were lifeless, to put simple they were empty shells, he conducting experiments using empty puppet and monster party to see if he can either replicate some of their ability to some extend or if he can learn something new from them.

Some of the experiments were proven useful. Using slime cores, he was able to make energy flow more easily making his core and all other puppets a bit faster. Using Goblin and Mug-mug body parts he learned more how living organism body works, he was able to increase puppets mobility. Both of these experiments were not complete since he didn't posses a living organism to complete them, but even if he did capture some living specimens, he don't know how to keep them alive.

A peace and quiet was suddenly interrupted by unknown message from dungeon core. This was first time this sort of message appears before dungeon master. He rushed out from his laboratory to the main room, he used the dungeon core to see what's going on.

/Exit of the dungeon had been forcefully closed. Exit will reopen once invaders has dealt with./

This was first time the dungeon had been closed as well but he understood one thing, some dungeon outside is trying to devour them.

Space inside the corridor that was leading to exit had been disrupted and after some time a space cracked and some sort of portal gate has been opened. From the portal a undead monsters started to pour out.

Undead creature that has lost it identity when it was reborned as undead. A middles creature that can be easily control by other undead.

A group of undead begin their march toward him but instead of being scared he was excited.

(Test…begin!) – though puppet with excitement because he was able to test out his new monsters on new opponents.

Soon after undead encountered the new monsters that were guarding the floor 2.

This creature was originally a Moving mannequin before it got transformed. Even though this puppet is categorized as same rank as his basic form it has increase stats as well as new means of attack. as well. It has appearance similar to its basic form and it's still made out of the wood but the hands and feats of the creature are replaced with razor sharp claw. The creature head is completely different as well, it posses a giant mouth, by gives illusion that it was ripped open. It's now able to use it's claws and mouth to rip their preys apart and is still able to use it's limbs the same way like the original.

At first puppets were able to overwhelm the undead, they were ripping and shredding them apart without suffering much of capsulitis, however flow instantly changed when wolf like creatures entered the battle.

Creature with the appearance of the wolf. This creature will possess more offensive as well as defensive power unlike normal wolf. The bites made by this creature are dangerous to the living creatures since they can end up infecting them.

Undead wolfs leaped over the other undead head and jumped straight at their enemies. Battle quickly turned to the worst, puppets claws were not able to pierce wolfs hide and other method of attack made by puppets proven to be useless. Wolfs were crushing every single puppet with their jaws while blocking all of their attacks with their own bodies. Undead invaders march destroyed every single puppet on their way thanks to the wolfs and then they arrived at the door that leads them to the floor 2 dungeon boss. Invaders opened the room raveling a tall creature standing in the middle of it.

The legs of the creates have structure that of a bird or that of a dog, the feed of the creatures resembles that of the bird but instead of claws there are sharp blades instead. It posses a spine and a rib cage that resembles a human, it was reinforced with steel to increase its defense. Creature possessed a long arms that have a four iron blades instead of fingers that could bend and act like regular fingers. The head of the creature had humanoid size but it had a mouth could split open revealing a saw-like teeth's, it had a two pairs of eyes one under the another.

Wolf monsters rushed straight at the puppet in attempt to destroy it but unlike before when they leaped at him, they were all cut to pieces with single slash. The undead stopped their tracks and tried to regroup.

(Something….off) – dungeon master realized something was off, undead like puppets were mindless creatures like them. Even if they got manifested, they intellect would drastically low since they were very weak, that meant only one thing somebody was giving orders to them.

(Do…not…let…them…) – puppet given order to the boss to not allow enemy to regroup.

Parts Hunter was noticeable faster that any enemy present in the battle right now and started to slash all enemies in the room one by one. After some times all the monsters that were present in the room had died.

(Over….?) – Puppet tried to close dungeon boss room to let him recover but something stopped him.

\Dungeon boss room can't be closed until all the invasion ends.\

He panicked and quickly looked at the boss room only to find out that nothing was no living enemy there, he then checked a gate to see a new wave of enemy approaching and from it not only new types of monster, but a pair of two boss type monster had made a appearance.
