Antarctica Land

( 3rd POV )

Inside a room that exuded a cozy ambiance, the walls were adorned with a calming shade of light grey, providing a neutral backdrop for the rest of the decor. Positioned prominently in the center stood a large wooden desk, adorned with intricate carvings, its surface polished to a gleaming sheen. A plush leather office chair sat behind it, inviting anyone to take a seat and immerse themselves in work. The room hummed with the soft whirring of futuristic technology, seamlessly integrated into every corner. Modern gadgets coexisted harmoniously with more traditional elements, creating an atmosphere that felt both familiar and cutting-edge.

Amidst this carefully curated space stood a young man, his figure poised in front of the imposing office desk. He held himself with an air of confidence, his gaze focused as he relayed information to someone seated behind the desk.

"Here, I've already compiled everything I gleaned from my vision about our new reality onto the server and uploaded it to SHEBA, just as you instructed," Ken said to the woman sitting behind her desk while she was busy navigating her hologram computer.

"But I would exercise caution in placing complete trust in its contents until we can substantiate it with further evidence. The multiverse is rife with infinite possibilities, after all. Oh, and it'll take a lot of time to read all of it," he added before ending his report.

Upon learning of the report's completion, the woman turned her attention away from the hologram and towards him. "I'm aware. Could you remind me of the file's name?" she inquired.

"The file is named MARVEL, Olga," he answered, jogging her memory about the name of the file.

Two days had passed since Ken summoned his servant. Ken and the other Chaldea members gave them the explanation they needed about their current situation. The two women who were summoned by him didn't seem to mind all of that, only slightly surprised about the news of being alive, but the certain middle-aged uncle was shocked and had a bunch of questions forming inside his mind.

As the inquiries poured forth from him, Ken and the others couldn't help but feel overwhelmed, particularly when confronted with his queries about this unfamiliar world. That's why Ken decided to finish Olga's assignment to him and let them just read the information from the database instead.

Olga, on the other hand, had mixed feelings when she saw her former teacher being summoned. She knew her teacher's demeanor; he would question everything about Chaldea's situation until he managed to clear out his doubts, and after that, she knew he would become an invaluable ally.

"Sigh, this is quite a lot," she muttered, eyeing the extensive documentation Ken had just completed.

"Like I said, just take your time. Now that I'm done with my work here, I'll go for a walk with Mash, Ushiwaka, and Hassan." After Ken said that, he immediately turned around and headed toward the exit.

Upon learning of his plans, Olga attempted to halt him, seeking further clarification. "Wait! Outside? Only outside the Chaldea building or outside our bounded field area?"

"Of course, outside the bounded field. Mash used to only patrol inside it, right? Now with me and the other servants joining, it's time to explore more places," he replied, continuing to walk without any intention of stopping.

"If you go outside the bounded field area, there's a chance someone will notice our presence, you idiot!" she replied, shouting with an anxious tone.

Ken, who was already in front of the door, stopped for a second before turning his head toward the panicking woman and staring at her with a playful grin on his face. "It'll happen sooner or later, Olga. We can't continue to hide if we want to survive in this world after all." After he said that to her, the door opened, and he left the dumbstruck Olga behind.

( El-Melloi II POV )

The last two days have been very chaotic, the most unreal experience for me. No, I should say the last few years is more accurate. The moment when humanity seemed on the verge of being erased from the surface of the Earth, and I was called to a past era while inheriting the power of a certain servant in my body, as well as the memories of alternate versions of myself from parallel worlds, that was surely one of the craziest moments I have ever encountered.

I was just a normal magus who inherited my former teacher's title because of my debt to him. Fighting with a being like a heroic spirit is definitely not my specialty, but I was dragged into it. I was just a teacher in the Cloak Tower, for heaven's sake...

Chaldea, I had heard about them even before they started operating. The current director of this organization is also my former student, and I attended the previous funeral of the late director. Their purpose is to save the human order, from what I heard. In the second singularity, they needed to gather the holy grails from different eras to do it.

I guess they succeeded in their mission because I was sent back to my own office, and the rest of humanity is back to where they are supposed to be. Even I still get to hold the power of a servant that fused with my body in the second singularity, so that's also a plus.

But all of that only lasted for a few days before I was summoned to this facility, or should I say, to this new reality. A whole new different universe outside of our original one from what I learned from them. Ryougi Ken, the last master of humanity, is the one who summoned me to this dangerous, unknown world.

I had heard his name from the Wizard Marshall himself and from his two junior sisters who attended my classes. Very few people seem to know about him, and the Wizard Marshall himself prefers it that way. It was almost as if he sought to shield the boy from the prying eyes of the world, shrouding him in mystery. Prior to his abrupt departure to Chaldea under the command of the old man, he maintained contact solely with his junior sisters and a select few others.

"Sigh, why did I get dragged into this clusterfuck situation..." I sighed loudly, lamenting about my cruel fate. I even doubt that my luck stats, mine seemed to veer closer to the letter E than any B+.

I'm in the cafeteria of this facility, intending to grab some breakfast and a coffee after my sleepless night reading the report about the whole matter regarding the Grand Order. I must say, their last fight is filled with twists. Who would have thought that Solomon would be the one to cause it and end it?

As I reached for the sandwich thoughtfully prepared by Mash, my attention was abruptly seized by the insistent buzz of the new bracelet bestowed upon me by Sion. She mentioned that it allows me to access a database and receive notifications if something occurs, functioning essentially like a modern phone.

Activating it, a holographic projection materialized above my palm, prompting me to enlarge it for better clarity. "A notice from Olga?" I murmured, eyeing the message and accompanying file attachment with intrigue.

"A matter of utmost urgency—a classified file: MARVEL." The sheer volume of information contained within hinted at an arduous task ahead.

"Well, I guess I can do it while eating my breakfast then," I said, deciding to read the file here in the cafeteria while being accompanied by my food and coffee.

( Ken POV )

"Senpai, is it really okay to go outside the bounded field?" My cute kouhai's voice could be heard as we walked in a jungle filled with giant and prehistoric plants.

"Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?" I said in a playful tone, trying to tease her.

The lavender-haired girl now wore her iconic black-purple armor while holding a giant shield in her right hand, accompanied by her little white pet coiling on her left shoulder. "Mou~ senpai, stop teasing me. I'm just following the orders from Director Olga, you know..." she protested, a cute pout gracing her features.

"Hahaha, sorry, I can't resist teasing you, Mash. You're just too adorable," I confessed, a grin tugging at my lips as I observed her flushed cheeks in response to my compliment.

"But it's inevitable; sooner or later, venturing beyond the bounded field will become necessary. While I understand Olga's concern, I believe it's futile in this new world. Despite the presence of formidable entities, I doubt they would spare us a second glance if they were even capable of sensing our presence," I explained, my words a mix of reassurance and pragmatism as we traversed the jungle.

Ushiwakamaru, walking beside us, chose to listen quietly to my words, nodding from time to time. She seemed untroubled, in contrast to a certain middle-aged man I had summoned. It was apparent that she was content to have been summoned and to live out her second life in service to her new master.

"You seem remarkably well-informed about this world, senpai. Is it because of your visions?" Mash inquired, her curiosity piqued by my apparent knowledge.

"Indeed, but I'm wary of placing blind trust in them without corroborating evidence," I admitted, mindful of the dangers of blind faith in uncertain circumstances.

"But isn't it fascinating that a prehistoric jungle thrives in this world, particularly in Antarctica? What a miraculous discovery..." Mash mused, her wonderment palpable as she marveled at the marvels of this unfamiliar landscape.

Our conversation flowed uninterrupted as we navigated the dense jungle, until we arrived at the edge of the bounded field. It was then that Hassan, who had been shrouded in her presence concealment, materialized beside us with an update. "Master, we have arrived at the perimeter of Chaldea's bounded field," she reported.

"Yes, I can see it. Hassan, I want you to investigate the surrounding area as soon as we leave the bounded field. If you find something or someone, don't engage. Keep observing them before you report back to me," I said, giving her a new task. I needed to know if there was a civilization living in this land.

She responded with a nod before vanishing with her presence concealment once again. Meanwhile, Ushiwakamaru could barely contain her excitement upon spotting several dinosaurs wandering through the forest ahead, completely oblivious to our presence.

"Ken-sama, look, there are dinosaurs over there!" Ushiwakamaru exclaimed, her excitement palpable as she pointed towards the ancient creatures.

"You seem quite enthusiastic, Ushiwaka," I chuckled, amused by her enthusiasm.

"Even though I was raised and taught by a tengu in my early life, slaying monsters, humans, and demonic beasts all my life, I never saw an ancient creature like dinosaurs. They look so cool!" Ushiwakamaru's admiration for the dinosaurs puzzled me momentarily. Aren't tengus more ancient than dinosaurs? Ushiwaka definitely has a peculiar taste.

"Kyuu! Fouu!" Even Fou, the peculiar creature perched on Mash's shoulder, seemed to agree with Ushiwakamaru's sentiment. I couldn't help but wonder if he viewed the dinosaurs as potential meal options...

"You too, Mash?" I turned to my kouhai, noticing a glimmer of curiosity in her eyes.

"U-um, I only learned about them from books, so I'm always curious about the real ones, senpai." Mash's shy yet eager response reminded me of her sheltered upbringing within Chaldea. It's easy to forget that she's never experienced the world outside its confines.

'Let's explore other places after this, maybe America or Europe, and enjoy some vacation time together,' I pondered to myself, considering it a promising plan for all of us.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's venture forth!"

"Yosha! Oh, and Ken-sama, could I also hunt them and take them as a pet?"

"It's fine if you want to take them as pets, but please don't hunt them... We don't want to disturb their ecological system."

"But what if they attack us, senpai? Some dinosaurs can be quite aggressive and carnivorous..."

"If they attack us, then feel free to chop them down. I'm also quite curious what dinosaur meat tastes like, haha."

"Leave it to me, Ken-sama."

We continued our walk through the jungle, leaving the Chaldea bounded field behind. Several dinosaurs around the vicinity started to notice our presence; some ignored us, while the rest fled from us. Thankfully, most of them were herbivores.

Shortly after our trek through the dense jungle, we emerged onto expansive green plains that unfurled to the horizon. The landscape was punctuated with lofty ferns and trees. Far off, the rugged summits of age-old mountains stood tall against the skyline. The atmosphere buzzed with the sounds of unfamiliar and wild beings, their cries weaving through the plains in a symphony crafted by nature itself.

Huge, lumbering dinosaurs roamed the land, their massive forms casting long shadows over the verdant landscape. Herds of smaller creatures grazed peacefully, their colorful feathers and scales shimmering in the sunlight. Pterosaurs soared overhead, their wings glinting in the golden light as they searched for prey.

"Whoa, it's so beautiful..."

"Is this what the Earth looked like in ancient times...?"

"Fouu! Fou!"

Hearing and seeing my partners' awe-filled exclamations, a sense of satisfaction washed over me before I grinned toward them and showed them a welcoming T pose. "Welcome to the Savage Land."

( 3rd POV )

Meanwhile, in a room that bore the marks of time and was decorated with distinctive temple furnishings, a bald individual was seen levitating in meditation, wearing a serene expression. This unusual sight did not clash with its surroundings; rather, it complemented the room's mystical atmosphere.

The meditator's body quivered briefly, interrupting her deep meditation. Her eyes fluttered open, and she instinctively reached for the small golden artifact shaped like an eye that dangled from around her neck.

Closing her eyes once more, focusing her thoughts, she performed a series of intricate hand movements, causing the necklace to respond. A bright green light emanated from within the gem embedded in the artifact, bathing the room in an ethereal glow. However, despite the display of power, a furrow creased her brow, indicating a sense of unease, prompting her to cease her actions and deactivate the necklace.

"The future can no longer be seen, an enigma had entered the equation rendering everything blank... Truly fascinating..." she murmured softly, a cryptic whisper echoing in the silence of the room before an unexpected smile graced her features.
