After watching Steve drive away with Lumma, Adam got into the car driven by José and went straight to the Hills Mansion.

Catherine stayed here after returning from Harrison last time because she was worried about Maria's condition.

When Catherine saw Adam, she felt mad. "What are you doing here? Do you want to see if I get mad at you?"

Adam pushed the glasses frame on the bridge of his nose. "Grandma, why are you mad at me?"

"Lucas, how dare you to even ask that?" Catherine was so angry that she called him the name used at home. Whenever she called this name, it showed that she was really mad. The situation was very bad, and she wouldn't feel better soon.

Adam supported her. "I'm here to make you happy, so listen to me first."
