A great and lovable novel that copied off of Reverend insanity but nonetheless great. The plots that author make up by himself for example: (The two rank one that tried stealing Arthur's fae, seducing a female, acting emotional towards family) were all incorporated perfectly and hyped me up. Despite being a RI copy this novel's volume one so far has definitely exceeded how much I enjoyed RI's volume one. Now let's talk about the characters and authors grammar and coherence. Characters: One of the best aspect of this novel I found to be were it's depth of personality in each character. Even a bottom feeder lives for himself and more often than not has a clear goal ahead of him. The arrogant ones such as Randolf who likes to prey and bully others knows when and who to respect. The females don't fall high over heels for him but gradually comes to like him(if he wills it). Did I talk about the awesomeness of each characters? probably but let me go more in depth, The father of Arthur, the clan leader although likes and loves his son he still at the end of the day always puts his clan above everything just like a proper clan leader should. His mother plays the perfect role of a caring and nagging mother. His brother, although loves Arthur but he at the same time doesn't let him love take over his emotions and actually becomes suspicious (kind of) of Arthur when he began to display a cold demeanor. That is something many authors fails to comprehend, they cannot possibly visualize the possibility that their family isn't just balls of love that can only incessantly love him but a human too. No matter how close a human will still be suspicious if someone suddenly changes his whole personality even if given a reason. Anyways enough talking about character now let me move on to authors writing ability. Grammar and coherence of author: There's nothing much to say about this except this is pretty much the most ideal grammar you can expect from webnovel. The fluency and understandablity of this novel is great while it doesn't use fancy words like in Alien evolution system it still does do it's work(which is proper English).

Hi everyone! It's the Author Bruhdamante here, and considering that I have just finished the first volume of Madness Apostle I thought that it would be prudent to write a review after a total of 117 chapters. This will be kinda long, so if you don't like reviews like this, I would suggest that you either skim through it or just skip to the end, I can't really force anyone to read this, or my novel. But first I'd like to thank all the readers who have read and liked and commented and reviewed my novel! It does only take up to a few seconds to write a sentence or two but I read everything that you guys post and try to take the positives with the negatives! At any rate, I'd like to given an evaluation to my work so far so to at least give a point of view, no matter how biased it is to potential readers in the event that they do see my comment and read it. For those of you who have read, Reverend Insanity, Madness Apostle will possess some familiar characteristics (all the good ones I hope). It is not some sign-in/overpowered protagonist/system novel which litters the current Webnovel and is something that I am proud of writing. The world building, the main character and the presentation of the lore will be similar to Reverend Insanity, although the contents will be completely different. The main thing I found about Reverend Insanity is that while the author managed to describe and create a whole array of characters that weave in and out through the entire story, he does so in a way that doesn't recycle old content. That is what I hope to achieve in my own. The morality, philosophies or world views of my characters are completely up for debate and I encourage active thought into why someone would choose to live like this, or in this particular manner. Despite some of my mistakes in grammar or punctuation, I really hope to push a novel towards my audience that is different from all of the repetitive stuff all over Webnovel right now (and for those people who think that this is just a repeat of Reverend Insanity, you are all more than welcome to read through this and then give me your opinion) At any rate, I hope that you all enjoy, tell your friends and have a good time. I look forward to all the comments you guys will post in the near, or distant future!

(I'm only making two comparisons to RL since their honestly the only things that I deem similar between the two works) Madness Apostal caters to the small number of readers who are interested in stories revolving around real Villains, someone who's goals and interests take precedence over familial bonds, morality and just about every 'normal' human relationship. The world and power system are intricate and expansive, I actually doubt the Author will have the opportunity to explore every nuance and attribute introduced in the series in-depth but the job he's done so far could probably fuel quite a few fan-fictions if that's any 'real' indication of how interesting and large the world gets later down the line but in my honest opinion I find it much easier to understand and interesting than the power system of Reverend Insanity since comparisons will be made. Arthur Kovacs is compared constantly to Fang Yuan of Reverend Insanity and from first viewing it's simple to see why. Their both ruthless individuals who only have their personal benefits in mind when taking action, their both unperturbed by the required blood and gore needed to accomplish a task, and they both have lived lives completely beyond the comprehension of anyone they interact with. Giving them a baring and personal quality that can't quite be captured in a single explanation. Unfortunately quite a few people stop their comparisons there and ignore the fact that Arthur has lived longer than Fang Yuan. This in itself isn't that big of a detail but it separates the two by an invariable film, Arthur is more direct in his actions as opposed to Fang Yuan's cunning, he despises those who have potential yet waste it, while Fang Yuan simply doesn't believe that innate potential is the be all end all of a person's existence. They both refuse to give up as long as their hearts still beat and their synapses continue to fire, but gamble with their lives if they believe the rewards are worthy. Both very compelling people, but Arthur at his core is inquisitive, daring and confident while relatively Fang Yuan is greedy, careful and prefers to keep everything about himself close to his chest. This comes down to the fundamental principles that govern their worlds and cultures along with their personal experiences, Arthur growing into a Demon having suffered loss after loss and realizing he's but a frog in a well obsessed with understanding the greatest powers in the world while Fang Yuan has always been weak and unable to fulfil most of his goals but remained an individual dedicated to his personal betterment, he too becoming obsessed, yet with the notion of his existence becoming eternal. Gu Master's can basically accomplish anything with the correct resources, luck and attainment level while Fae Master's must hone their respective fields and understanding of the world and themselves to best execute their true abilities(their comprehensions only adding another layer to their arsenal instead of being the foundation that blooms into their overall combat strength). Other characters are compelling in their own right. The Kovacs clan is comprised of tens of individuals with their own aspirations, schemes and personal baggage that allows us as readers to really delve into the minds of these individuals who must fight and train themselves near constantly to be relevant in a strange complex world that constantly changes and becomes more dangerous to them day by day. Personal stagnation is a death sentence in this world and the Author isn't afraid to show that. Visually I'd say the scenes and characters are depicted decently, with enough descriptions to paint a wildly colorful and exquisite world. Characters are also depicted quite well with just enough attention given to detail to make them discernable even with the time between releases. The politics, rationing of resources, psychology and rationalizations of characters are explained flawlessly. Everything working in tandem to give this world a true beating heart to enrapture any reader looking for something interesting and unqiue, what with all the regurgitate sub-par works overflowing on the app. If you've come across this novel and are unsure if it's for you I highly suggest reading the first 40 or so chapters before making a definitive decision(not many can stomach what happens beyond).
