Chapter 79: Brotherhood Rivalry
Denver's POV
"My Alpha, I have handed Miss. Laura over to Hades." Adolphus informed me with a short bow.
"How did she take the news?" I raised a slight brow, standing from the dining chair.
"She kept on crying and pleading on our way there and somehow, she fainted after failed attempts of running away." He meticulously explained to me and I sighed.
"I didn't know why I agreed with the terms of her parents in the first place. She is a very capricious person." I shrugged.
"Anyway, Hades asked me to extend his regards and really appreciate the gift you sent over to him." I paused in my tracks.
"I wouldn't have done it if she hadn't pushed me to the wall." I let it out before storming out of the mansion and he followed me.
"You were really kind, my Alpha. No one would be as patient as you were. But…" he trailed off and I faced him anxiously.
"But what?" I asked as he opened the car door.
