Chapter 48: Dealing with Luna Cecilia
Cecilia's POV
"What's my schedule for today?" I asked her as soon as I stepped out of my chamber.
"My lady, your schedule for the week has been canceled." I stopped in my tracks, facing her.
"What? Why?" I asked with anxiety lingering in my eyes.
"Last night, Laura met with the pack elders and broke some news to them." She informed me, lowering her face.
"A certain news?" I knew what it was but forbade myself from expecting it.
"She is pregnant with the Alpha's child. Right now, the elders have called for a meeting with Alpha Denver, Laura and also… you." She said, stuttering and I exhaled deeply.
The future we were running from had successfully collided with us.
Laura kept on winning me in my own game and I had no way to put her in her place.
Why did she inform the elders about her child?
Rather than Denver's love, she wanted something else.
