"miss Foster" I look up and see one of my colleagues Elizabeth talking to me and I reply "yes "and she continues "the chairman is calling you to his office now it's very important"

i groan I hate working the only reason I'm here is because I need it for my course in business I want to make sure the board of directors has no reason to turn down my resume Elizabeth snaps and fingers in front of me and I smile as you sorry I push my chair back and walk to the chairman's office and knock and I hear a deep voice "come in "

I enter I see Christian grinning "sheepishly " and he says "hello bestie" Christian has been my best friend since diaper days our families are really close I don't know what I would do without him and I reply" let me guess you're bored and in my positive energy in your life" and he shrugs and says" humble much" I laugh and say" why didn't you tell me you were back from Italy" and he says "I wanted to surprise you" and I change the topic and Sit down across from him" Disney asked me to be his girlfriend"

A FEW HOURS LATER

People have started leaving the building I start packing up my desk and see my best friend Phoebe walking out of a Rolls-Royce and into the office and I say "way to make a grand entrance "and she laughs and says "I have to ,how will I impress my number one fan, you and I say" I think is the other way round you j'adore me" and she says" is that your attempt at speaking french anyway is what is going down on your birthday" and I say "nothing I'm just going to Netflix and chill" and she says "not this year" I just ignore her I walk out of the building and into her car and i put my headphones in and she says while entering the car "bitch much" and I say "you love this bitch" she replies "you wish"

I see Christian running out of the building Shouting "don't forget me" and Phoebe says "that idiot" and Christian enters the car and says" hi darlings" Phoebe and i say in unison "fuck off "and he cries out "you're so mean" we ignore him and start talking about my birthday again

Phoebe shouts "I have an idea let's go ice skating I hear there's a place with frozen ice in the east of the state not that far we go there enjoy ourselves come back and Netflix and chill" and I say "that's actually not a bad idea" she smiles" good pick you up tomorrow bestie what about you young" and Christian frowns "it's not like you guys care about my opinion" and Phoebe gives him an Innocent smile" that's right we don't "

Phoebe stops in front of my house and I tell them goodbye and go to my room I'm flop on my bed and go on Instagram and I see a post from Aiden anderson Alex Anderson's father it is the one-year anniversary of his son being in a coma sad it's already been a year

axel was and still is the heartthrob of many ladies his the kind of man a father would want her daughter to marry he has the brains, kindness, wealth and the looks but he had been so reckless on the day he had the bike accident I switch off my phone this has been enough bad news for a day I brush my teeth and sleep off

THE NEXT DAY

he laughs and says "bye enjoy your day "and i cut the call taylor is my younger brother and last child of the foster family although he still in middle School he has a smart mouth I get off of my bed and stroll to my closet and bring out a white crop top with off shoulder and the highways Jean with a few cuts on the side

I lay them on my bed and have my shower after that I wear it and text Phoebe to come and pick me up after half an hour or so I see her in front of my house and I run downstairs panting when I reach down what I'm no athlete, I swing the door open just for Phoebe to tackle me to the ground "my bestie is finally 18 after all these months being born in September sucks" and I cry out

we walk out of the house and enter into the car and Phoebe start driving at high speed "I think my intestines are coming out "she frowns at me "I'm not driving that fast today".

After two hours or so we reach the place and see Christian already waiting for us "what took you guys so long I got here like 30 minutes ago "and I look at him in horror "how fast were you driving" and he replied with a murmur" not that fast "we head to the counter we pay and collect the ice skating shoes I think that's what I called

we start skating we have been at it for an hour or so and suddenly I feel the ice under my feet give out and I fall into the freezing water I can't freaking swimming is this where I die I slowly close my eyes to the voice of Christian shouting and looking for me and I hear splash and blackout

Christian's pov

They Rush Georgia to the hospital I'm so scared what if she dies or never wakes up and I see Phoebe sitting down in the waiting room looking as worried as me "it's all my fault" she repeats herself and I say" it's not my fault you didn't know she was going to drown,

"it's okay" I reassure her a and pull her close to me and I hear someone barge in and see Harmony and Taylor looking worried to death and they approach us and harmony matches right up to me

she says "what did you do to my sister "and I said to her" harmony calm down" and she says "oh shut up bonehead you have a lot of explaining to do "I tell her everything she just drops on the ground and says" I hope she'll be okay I want her to be alive"

the doctor walks out "who is here for Georgia Foster "harmony rushes up to him and says me" I'm her sister" he looks at her confused she says "I'm adopted is she going to be okay" and he says" we are sorry she's in a coma we don't know for how long" and harmony falls on the ground and starts crying.
