Vengeance Magus Debuts

Time passed relentlessly as Petra executed his plan with Zekram. The contents of the plan only adapted to what was happening in the original storyline. Zekram chose allies with the greatest strength as war heroes, bearing the title The New Great Four Demon King to replace the throne left by the heir who died in the war.

This decision was highly advantageous for Zekram, as his powerful allies could form an intimidating image for the remaining demon clans. The next plan was to establish a new government where Zekram would be the main axis known as the Demon Council.

However, the current reality did not entirely match that plan. Zekram preferred to find someone or a group that could be used as a scapegoat to solve the remaining problems, rather than continue with the previous plan.

His plan was to accuse Grayfia's younger brother of treason and spread it among the demon populace. With this accusation, he hoped to destroy the influence that Areon had built so well among the demon populace, so that Madam Lucifuge would not perish at the hands of the old demons, making Zekram fearful.

Currently, Petra stood tall in his own battlefield, in front of Asmodeus's forces in front of the Lucifuge mansion. Of course, this situation was very related to leaving Commander Goverick under Grayfia's command. This could not be ignored by Lord Asmodeus now, who ascended the throne with the name Damaidosu Zereikel Asmodeus, a demon known for his ferocious, rough, and ambitious personality.

Before him, many high-ranking demons stood against him. However, Petra remained calm as one of Goverick's replacements stepped forward to face him. Of course, the Lucifuge Clan would not allow their savior to face many forces without protection. Grayfia stood behind Petra, guarding him faithfully like a loyal servant.

Petra simply looked at him, unaffected by the mockery. He was not the type to be easily provoked by taunts while speaking.

"As a representative of Lord Asmodeus-sama, we are ordered to try Grayfia Lucifuge for the alleged murder of the previous Commander, Geoverick! As I am kind-hearted, I beg you to follow us peacefully," the demon commander explained loudly.

Grayfia looked somewhat shocked by the accusation, but Petra restrained her by speaking to the Asmodeus demon commander.

"Enough with the pleasantries. I know what you plan to do when Grayfia surrenders. And to Damaidosu, I warned him 300 years ago not to mess with me. He even knows that my presence in front of Lucifuge now shows weakness to the throne he inherited from his father," Petra said without beating around the bush, mocking Damaidosu in front of his followers.

The expression on the demon commander's face turned sour, and he gritted his teeth as he responded to Petra's words sharply.

"Watch your mouth, Sir... Perhaps you are the greatest human who ever lived, a famous Magus throughout history. However, that doesn't give you the right to insult Lord Asmodeus. Even though you are the greatest Magus, it doesn't mean you can withstand all of us here," he warned sharply.

Petra just smiled with his devilish expression. "I won't retreat."

The demon commander's patience reached its limit, and he immediately ordered his troops to attack the Lucifuge mansion and Petra.

Long story short, the demons following Lord Asmodeus were not as strong as Petra had hoped. Within an hour, the high-ranking demon troops were completely subdued by him, leaving Grayfia stunned watching the battle.

Petra's movements, both in martial arts and magic, did not reflect those of an ordinary Magus. He combined martial arts with complex magic, creating a stunning spectacle. The martial arts movements that destroyed combined with unexpected magic created chaotic demon formations, while he directly attacked the captains of the troops with martial arts, leaving the demons confused.

Within an hour, all demon troops were wiped out by Petra, leaving the demon commander completely defeated in his hands. Petra clenched his hand around the demon's throat, making him choke and be thrown by the intimidating aura he radiated.

"Do you understand why I let you live?" Petra said with a wide grin.

The demon commander could only nod painfully.

"Alright... Tell Damaidosu, if he doesn't show up where I told him to, then I, Petra Handerson, will not hesitate to wipe him out along with his territory," Petra said firmly, making the demon commander pale with fear.

Without another word, Petra released his grip on the demon, who immediately fled like a small bird running from its predator.

After the issue was resolved, Petra sighed and looked around at the destruction. 'I got too excited and damaged the environment around the mansion like this, but I'm glad the plan can start now.'

"Petra-sama..." Grayfia called out from behind.

The Magus turned to see Lady Lucifuge standing there dejectedly, playing with her fingers.

"Yes? What is it?" Petra asked honestly, startling Grayfia.

"It's... If I follow you like this, I feel like I'll only slow you down. So--" she hesitated in her response.

Petra understood the problem Grayfia was experiencing. 'Ah, she became less confident after watching the fight earlier,' he thought.

Without hesitation, Petra flicked Grayfia's forehead quite hard, making her surprised and feeling pain on her forehead. Holding her head, Grayfia looked at Petra with a confused expression.

"What's your problem? Get rid of your inferiority complex, Grayfia… Everyone has their own way of expressing their magic, and one of them is me. You don't need to feel inferior because of our different levels of skill. Just do the task I gave you and finish this tragedy," Petra advised, putting both of his hands in his pockets.

Grayfia pondered for a moment over Petra's words, seeking meaning behind them, until finally being brought back to her senses by Petra, who was already in front of the mansion gate.
