Life for a Fantasy: The Transmigrant's Survival Challenge

In a dark room, an 18-year-old man was lying on his bed while looking for something to read on his cell phone.

After a while, he finally found something and said:

"Raphael's story...what a strange name for a novel."

He clicked on the novel and started reading the synopsis and then thought:

'Another cliché story, but I'll give it a chance and see if it's any good.'

He then decided to read the first chapter and then the second and then the third and so on until he stopped at chapter 35.

The man looked at his cell phone screen as he thought:

'Wait, why are there only women around the protagonist?'

He decided to go into the comments of chapter 35 and read the author's comment that said, "There are only 2 girls left to complete the harem."

After reading the author's comment, a hate descended upon his heart, but he kept his cool and took a deep breath and went into the novel page and began to write an honest critique of the story while speaking aloud:

"This is the worst piece of shit I have ever read in my entire life, I really have no words to describe how garbage this manages to be. There's a cliché story and a harem with so many girls you could make five families and everything always works out for the protagonist, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!"

After he finished writing his review, he sent it off and took a deep breath and said:

"Finally I got that hate out of my heart, now I can sleep in peace..."

He stretched out on his bed and decided to go to sleep soon, but as he was getting ready for bed, a guilt started to take over his heart and he said:

"Damn, I think I crossed the line a little."

He sighed and to ease that guilt, he decided to delete his review, but when he clicked on his review, he noticed that the author had replied and he read it mentally:

'How dare you?'

After reading the author's response, he thought for a while and decided to respond:

'Accept it that it hurts less.'

He was planning to delete his review, but after reading the author's arrogant response, he decided to leave it and still make fun of the author's face, but what he couldn't imagine was that this would bring dangerous consequences in his life.

Suddenly, he heard a notification on his cell phone and realized that he had received a text message with the following message:

'I hope you are prepared to deal with the consequences of giving my book an unfair review, jacob!'

Reading the SMS, jacob was startled and thought:

'calm down, there is no way he can know my name, it must be someone else, or some...'

But suddenly, he received another SMS with the following message:

'Good luck in the "raphael story", I hope you die in the worst possible way.'

After reading this, his vision started to blur and Jacob blinked, but as he blinked, he felt his body being pulled by something and suddenly he was teleported into the sky.

Jacob who had just been teleported, opened his eyes and noticed a totally blue vision and wondered:

'Have I died?'

But suddenly he felt his body start to descend and he looked down and the view was really impressive; rocky mountains, huge green fields and a gigantic city with huge walls protecting him.

That view gave him peace, but as he remembered that he would die if he fell to the ground, a desperation began to take over Jacob, and he said as he tried to make a parachute out of his shirt:

"It doesn't work, dammit! In the movies it worked!"

After several attempts to make a parachute out of his shirt, he gave up and said:

"Damn, dying like this makes me look like I committed suicide. So many ways for me to die and it's going to be like this?"

He sighed in defeat and decided to embrace his fate and decided to admire the view before he died.

His height was more than 30,000 feet off the ground and little by little the distance began to decrease until he reached 500 feet off the ground and he said as he tried to maintain optimism:

"Calm down, this must be a dream, it sure is a dream, if it's not a dream, I must be drugged, that! I am drugged, someone must have drugged me! It must have been my sister, it's like she made this kind of joke to post on the Internet."

(Who needs enemies with a sister like that.)

The distance dropped to 100 meters and he started screaming in fear:

"My sister drugged me! That's not real!"

And the distance dropped to 50 meters and Jacob closed his eyes praying that this was a dream or that he was on drugs.

The distance went down to 10 meters and just as he was about to touch the ground, a mysterious force saved him and stopped him in the air a few inches off the ground and Jacob said while keeping his eyes closed:

"It's a dream calm down, I'll open my eyes in one two three!"

He opened his eyes and saw a green grass a few inches from his eye and suddenly the mysterious force disappeared and Jacob fell into the grass undamaged.

As he fell on the grass, Jacob quickly got up and checked to see if his legs were okay or if any part of his body was broken and after a long check, he lay face down on the ground and saw a beautiful blue sky and thought:

'I'm alive, it was just a dream...'

He was smiling and almost crying with happiness, but his brain started thinking and he freaked out and screamed:

"Why am I not in my room?!"

His cry startled some birds nearby and he got up and started looking around and realized he was in the middle of the countryside and noticed the same town a few miles away and thought as he saw the town that it looked like towns from medieval times:

'Am I in another world?'

Jacob suddenly remembered that texting and the pieces started to fit together in his head and he yelled as he looked up at the sky:

"You son of a bitch!"

After he screamed, he took a deep breath and tried not to think about anything lest he have an existential crisis and end up going crazy.

He looked at the city a few miles away, looked up at the sky and noticed that it was daylight and from the intensity of the heat, Jacob bet it was around noon, so he took a deep breath and started walking towards the city.

At the city gate, two guards were talking while smoking:

"Did you see that busty heroine who was summoned with the other heroes? It's hard to imagine that she has..."

"Shut up, you'll end up being executed if you keep saying these things, and I don't want to have to work overtime."

"Why be afraid? It's just the two of us here on watch, and there's no chance they'll ever execute me, since I'm a magic knight of the gold class."

"Sigh, you know the commander doesn't care."

"You're jealous of me, just because I'm gold class and you're a lousy silver, you silver shit."

The guard became irritated and moved even closer to the other guard and replied:

"What did you say?"

"I said you were a silver shit!"

Suddenly, the guard jumped on his colleague and the two started rolling around in the grass as they fought.

Jacob who was walking to the gate, stopped walking and started staring at the two guards as they fought.

Jacob kept waiting for the fight to end, but this childish fight started to go on for minutes and completely losing patience, he said to the two:

"Can you both please stop!"

The guards stopped rolling on the grass while fighting and looked at the voice and noticed a handsome man with black hair and blue eyes and said mentally surprised at the same time:

'I didn't feel your presence!'

'I didn't feel your presence!'

Jacob looked at the guards who were staring at him and asked:

"Can you guys talk?"

Quickly the guards let go and stood up and said in a respectful tone:

"Good afternoon sir, what can we do for you?"

Jacob looked at the locked gate and said:

"I want to get into that city and I need information."

After hearing Jacob's answer, the guards quickly drew their swords and got into an attack posture and one of the guards said:

"Are you crazy? Do you know which kingdom you are attacking?!"

The other guard picked up a magical communication device and began to speak:

"South Gate! We are under attack by an intruder, we need reinforcements, he is probably emerald or diamond class, I repeat, we need reinforcements!"

Jacob looked at this extreme attitude of the guards and said trying to calm their tempers:

"Calm down, I'm just a traveler, I want to buy supplies and then I'll leave."

"Don't lie invader! The kingdom has closed its doors since the heroes were summoned, to prevent the infiltration of spies from the demon kingdom, any human in the whole world knows that."

"What, I'm not a spy, do I have demonic horns or something?"

The guard examined Jacob and said:

"Yeah, those weird clothes of yours, it's probably something common that you demons must wear."

"That's pajamas!"

"So you mean they are clothes from the demon realm?"

"What? No!"

The guards thought they were weaker than jacob, but they knew that starting by giving the first attack was favorable to them and quickly the two circulated the mana in their swords and attacked jacob in a vertical attack at the same time.

Jacob being caught off guard by the sudden attack, stepped back out of pure instinct, but his body was too slow to keep up with the sword, resulting in Jacob receiving two deep cuts to his chest.

He stumbled after receiving the blows and fell on his butt to the ground and looked at the guards and then at his bleeding body and thought:

'Damn, is it too much to ask for a little calm?!'

He looked at the guards and realized that another attack was coming and that the aim of the blow, was to decapitate his head.

Jacob who was literally an ordinary human in front of two monsters, knew that he had no chance to dodge the attack and when the blow was about to hit Jacob, the same mysterious force manifested itself and protected him from the attacks like a shield.

The guards who felt that their attacks were blocked, quickly retreated because they thought that a counterattack would come, but to their happiness, no attack came and they looked at Jacob who was with his cloudy eyes and suddenly, Jacob fell to the ground looking like a corpse and one of the guards said:

"Is he dead?"

"You'll see."

"What? You go! What if it's a trap?"

"If it is a trap, a silver class will die and the gold class will save the kingdom from an attack."

The guard who was silver class, got angry and quickly started attacking his companion and the gold class started defending itself while laughing...

Author's note

(Power levels in ascending order: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, emerald, diamond, dragon, and god. Details: most of the summoned students are diamond class, some are dragon class, and only Raphael is god class).

(Explanation of the above scene: the people of this world normally sense the presence of other people through the mana that the person exhales.

In this world, the amount of mana will determine your class, and even if you are a gold class, you can hide your mana for classes below you, but this does not work for classes above you, meaning that even if a bronze class has little mana, he will still be detected by the silver class.

But since Jacob has no mana in his body, the guards thought Jacob was a class above them).
