Life After Death

*huff...huff...huff..* I was running endlessly for however long I went, I lost track of time after a while because i was too focused on escaping this dammed facility. The path i was running across had a strong stench of blood that couldn't have been ride of no matter how much you got used to it.

The hallway was cold and eerie and gave you an uncomfortable feeling every time you went through it, It was made out of pure metal so it also had a strong metallic smell to it, I was running barefoot and had on pure white clothes that looked like pajamas.

Am I almost out of this place! I screamed out loud out of annoyance and my patience was running thin, though I had way more stamina than others of my age and even people way older than me, I also had more strength than others because of this weird power I was born with.

This world is cruel to others without you having a hierarchy of some sorts of your own unfortunately I am one of those people without any major power, this world is run by cultivation and magic and power, that's all people think about. The name the people in the facility gave me is 014 and I think I will stick to that.

Suddenly I saw some light up ahead and I instantly got some confidence in leaving this place forever. I don't know nothing about the outside world and I wanted to discover everything about it and make new friends...

Or at least that's what I would have liked and dreamed about 5 minutes ago, as I reached the end of this hallway and into the light made it outside of a door. Once I went through I was surrounded what seemed like trees I've never seen before and wildlife I have never thought would be real before, I jumped up in excitement and just went I was about to start running again I heard a noise

*BOOM*

Right when I heard the shot I flew backwards in pain and fell on my back on a boulder. I bit my lip out of pain and discomfort and put my hand on the place I was hurt. It was my stomach and it hurt pretty bad and I was making a painful face. I put my head down to see the injury and I had a big hole in the middle of my stomach and liters of blood was leaking out every passing second.

Suddenly I heard ruffling of leaves coming towards me and I quickly looked up at the area while holding the spot where I was shot at, what came out the bushes and leaves was a facility guard that was pointing a gun at me and I was startled by it.

He wore a completely black suit with black boots, and a fully covered face mask that only had holes for the eyes and nose, he slowly walked up to me while still holding the gun, I couldn't do anything about it because I was too busy holding my hand on my stomach from the injury while trying to stay alive as long as possible.

The facility guard then said to me...Code 014 I have been granted permission from the higher ups to eliminate you on the spot. I smirked and chuckled a little then spat blood at his face to see if I could anger him, unfortunately it for me he didn't even flinch.

He put his finger on the trigger towards my head and said... any last words Code 014?... I didn't give a response back and just put my hand on a necklace that was around my neck, I had no memories of this necklace yet It seemed so familiar to me and I had the urge to always keep it by my side and protect it. It was pure black all around and it had a weird dark purple symbol on it that I could not recognize or figure out what it was.

I gripped it with all my might and closed my eyes softly and waited for my death...I heard the guard about to pull the trigger and heard his breathes each passing second. I wondered to my self if there was really a heaven or hell place and if there was which would I be going to.

But I guess there is seeing as how people cultivate all there lives to reach the god realm too live a peaceful life forever or to battle all there lives killing people because they enjoy the thrill of battle.

*BOOM*

That was the last thing I heard before my death and in that split second a strange feeling came upon me, realistically I thought I would be going going to hell because of all the bad thought I had and the bad wishes I hoped too come true to everyone in that dammed facility. But what came after was nothing of what I expected.

I woke up in a very dark and eerie but familiar place, it wasn't the facility thought so I was confused about what else could I be familiar with besides their. looked around me to see if I could find any light of some sort but it was useless. Then looked at my body and I was covered in a pitch dark aura if anyone saw it, it would seem like a void to them instantly.

I had no legs so it seemed like I was floating, I couldn't move either so was stuck there for about 2 minutes until suddenly a purple crack above formed right in front of me. Slowly something came out that had a formless shape with countless amount of eyes around it, all the eyes were either red or purple and when they looked at me it seemed it found out everything about me in that second I was scared and if I was still alive I would have pissed my pants out of fear.
