MISS YOU MUCH

William stood at the kitchen counter, his hands moving with precision as he prepared dinner. He glanced up, his eyes wandering into the living room where Owen was engrossed in a video game. A flicker of confusion crossed his face, and he wondered, not for the first time, why he had brought Owen home.

Shrugging off the thought, William turned off the cooker and began serving the meal. The aroma of savoury spices and roasted vegetables filled the air, enticing Owen's senses. The young man's head swiveled, his eyes locking onto the steaming plates.

"Dinner is ready?" Owen asked, his voice tinged with excitement, as he dropped his game controller and made his way to the dining table.

"Wow, this looks delicious!" He exclaimed, taking a seat and eyeing the spread before him. He picked up a spoon and scooped a generous portion of the food, bringing it to his lips. The first bite was like a symphony of flavors, and Owen's eyes widened in delight.
