Toran

Jay was shocked the moment he learned he was actually in the Shurym Plane. Even Hellson was shocked and did not know what to tell Jay.

"Tell me, what do you know about my home? About me and my fellowmen?" The demon asked Jay while he started walking and gestured Jay to follow.

"The only thing I know is that you eat and torture humans for satisfaction. As for your plane, I really do not know anything about it." Jay said and hoped the demon won't kill him on impulse.

"Then the only thing I can say to you is that your knowledge about us is twisted. By the way, call me Toran."

"Jay Castle." Jay also introduced himself to show proper manners.

After a few minutes of walking in the burning and barren wasteland, Toran and Jay arrived in front of a large spiky rock.

"Jurin! Clear the way!" Toran shouted at the large spiky rock.

Suddenly, the large spiky rock got lifted and a mossy stairway leading underground was revealed. Just as Toran and Jay were gonna proceed, a shrill voice of an elderly person shouted at them.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!! EXPLAIN YOURSELF?!! WHY IS THERE A HUMAN WITH YOU?! EXPLAIN!!!"

"Shut the fuck up Jurin! This man has something we are lacking right now, information about the Fatelords." Toran shouted as he and Jay descended the stairs.

...

After a few minutes of walking down the stairs, Jay was starting to think that the stairs had no end to it.

"Our city is located deep underground, very, very deep underground." Toran said, trying to ease Jay's thoughts about this long walk down the stairs.

"I know you have a lot of questions, and I also have questions of my own. And if you really are what you say you are, a foreigner to our world, then maybe we won't involve you in our wars unless you choose a side."

...

After 30 minutes of walking, the two reached the bottom of the stairs. Jay was amazed with what he saw.

The entire place was a massive underground cave city. The place was filled with gigantic stalactites and stalagmites which looked like stone houses due to the holes that looked like windows and doorways.

When Jay tried to touch the ground out of curiosity, wondering why the cave's ceiling did not collapse even with all the gigantic stalactites.

~boing...

"What the..." Jay was surprised. The ground was slimy, squishy, and bouncy. But why does it feel as if he was still standing on a sturdy rock and not slipping on the ground?

"Interesting isn't it?" Toran said as he placed his left hand on the nearby wall and started to play with it was if it was a squishy toy.

"Slimerock. A unique type of mineral only found in our plane. Almost every one of the items at our disposal are made out of Slimerock." Toran said and gestured Jay to stop touching the ground and start walking.

"Wait, how will your fellowmen react when they see me? I am pretty sure there are thousands of them in the city just walking around..." Jay asked but Toran just smiled at him and gestured him to keep walking.

"Just expect that everyone will avoid us. Anyways, welcome to our city, Underbelly."

Jay did as such but had a weird thought appear on his mind. "Underbelly? Is he talking about this underground city? What a weird name..."

...

--- Underbelly City

The moment Jay and Toran walked around the city, almost everyone avoided them, just like Toran said. But Jay was focused on something else.

He saw the brown skinned demons, gray-skinned demons, and there were also the female version of these demons around.

The female demons had a human physique, including their curves. Unlike the male demons who only wore pants and left their upper body naked, the female demons wore a full set of clothing that were usually bluish in color and had a scaly texture to it. As for their hair, it wasn't made out of tentacles, but was actually actual hair.

"Jay, stop staring at the ladies. Most of them are impulsive and will beat the crap out of you if you stare too long. And one more thing about the ladies, even though they are fewer than the men, they are a bit more stronger than us..." Toran said while trying to hide his embarrassment.

While Toran continued to lead Jay somewhere, Jay was currently chatting with Hellson.

"Hey, Hellson... aren't you supposed to act crazily and keep asking questions? Why are you so quiet?"

"Traitor."

"I told you I have a plan.. I mean I am working on a plan..."

"Shush."

Hellson only said a single word every time Jay tried to talk to him. Jay was not sure if Hellson was just having a temporary fit of rage or if he was really angry at him.

Before Jay decided to just focus on the matter at hand, Hellson finally spoke to him in a complete sentence.

"Don't you dare break your promise..."

...

After walking a few more steps, Jay and Toran arrived in front of a stalagmite house. Just on top of its doorway, Toran's name was written in black ink.

Before Toran could even tell Jay to enter...

"Dad!"

"Uncle!"

"Brother!!!"

Four demons suddenly rushed out of the stalagmite house. There was a kid version of the brown-demon, 2 female demons, and a gray-skinned demon.

When Toran saw these four rushing towards him, he smiled at them and patted the kid demon's head. After doing so, he hugged the two female demons.

"Everyone! Back away!" The gray skinned demon suddenly backed off as he saw Jay and grabbed a jagged-shaped knife from his pants' left pocket.

"Human!"

Everyone indeed backed away from Toran and Jay.

"Relax. He is different from those scum. Let's all talk inside." Toran said as he tried to calm everyone down and pushed everyone inside the stalagmite home. As for Jay, he gestured him to follow.

...

--- Toran's House

Toran's house was furnished just the same way what a normal house should look like. Chairs, tables, small framed pictures, etc.

Before Toran led Jay towards a long table and ask him to sit down on one of the chairs provided, he first introduced his family to Jay.

"This is Torvani, my wife." Toran said as he pointed at the female demon with short black hair and a pair of small horns.

"This is Teria, my sister." Toran said as he pointed at the other female demon with short pink hair and a pair of curved horns.

"This is Karos, my nephew." The gray-skinned demon smirked when Toran pointed at him.

"And this kid is Tom. My only son." Toran said as he lifted the kid demon and hugged him.

"Dad! I told you not to do this in front of strangers!" Tom said angrily but still let Toran keep hugging him.

"Everyone, this human is Jay. Let us go to the dining room and discuss things further." Toran said as he led everyone to the dining room of the house.
