After the events of that particular day, Teacher took us to a ramen store and treated us to premium ramen.

Sometimes, you forget that he was the head of the Gojo clan, meaning he was quite rich…

In any case, something interesting had occurred to my body.

I had gained an Ocular Jujutsu!

Apparently, due to me gaining the six eyes,

My body had reacted to that mutation and, when the time limit for the six eyes were up, my body remembered the ocular occurrence and created a similar mutation in my eyes.

My eyes were now green!

Now, although this mutation occurred with the Six Eyes as the base,

It was entirely different from the Six Eyes.

While there are indeed similar features such as the ability to more precisely control my flow cursed energy,

Due to my innate cursed technique that was not Limitless, it also had other abilities.

Firstly, it gave me a game-like HUD that I can access anytime,

Of course, it was gacha-themed—more specifically, Fate/Grand Order themed…

In any case, this has several benefits, some are still yet to be discovered.

But, the one that I had discovered that I found particularly useful was the cutscene feature.

Basically, this allowed me to save one specific event/scene in the real world as a cutscene that I can watch.

And while watching the cutscene, my perception of time will be slowed, and subtitles commentating the event will appear.

This allows me to a) have a way to slow down my perception of time to think, and b) know more about certain events than I would have known.

Also, I found that I could save scenes of myself training and self-analysis on what I could improve.

Although, I have no idea to what extent of omniscient the subtitles describing the scenes are.

But, I had found them quite useful, sometimes they even highlighted the thoughts of my opponent.

For example, Teacher's thought when we were testing out the Eyes.

Secondly, due to having a gacha-game HUD, I had a gacha option that showed me all the information of my current gacha.

This was useful for a) knowing what was on rate-up, and b) choosing an ability for rate-up that I might not have known about.

Of course, these weren't all the benefits that my Eyes brought, but, it was what I had discovered so far.

Which brings us up to the present.

I was currently on the grass field, Teacher was standing in front of me, and we were just about to spar.

The objective was to find out more features of my eyes, and also to see how much I had improved.

"Disciple, don't you think I am too much of an opponent for you?"

Teacher said with a shit-eating grin as he lowered his sunglasses to look at me.

"Teacher, it's just testing. And also, you're not as strong as you think."

I challenged with the same grin as I ran my hand through my golden hair and stared at him.

"Ha! Bring it on!"

Teacher laughed as he extended his hand and used his index finger to perform a 'come here' motion.

I tried to replicate what I did with Geto, and–

[Black Flash]

My legs pushed me off the grass and launched me forward as black and red sparkle behind me.

I thrusted my staff forward.

Teacher's grin got wider, seeing my unique use of Black Flash.

Before shrugging as I got closer at insane speeds.

"Now, that's something, disciple, but how'll you ever reac—"

Saved scene.

While I was rocketing forward, I opened up my gamer HUD and saved the scene.

I instantly started watching it back as my mind raced.

The scene from when Teacher laughed played out with commentary.

I had received Limitless before, and knows how Infinity works.

It is basically space manipulation with a barrier technique.

Pushing the space as you get closer, or as Teacher would put it,

Dividing space.

Now, this technique requires a very huge amount of Cursed Energy.

It was almost like deploying a Domain around yourself.

That's why, unless you had Six Eyes to help with the precise control of Cursed Energy,

It was almost impossible for a Limitless user to bring out Infinity's true potential.

What point I'm trying to make is this;

While Infinity is just basic space manipulation, I do not have Limitless,

So I can not reverse the process.

But,

Due to it being a form of barrier technique,

Which requires a huge amount of calculation and Cursed Energy (the calculation helps push the space passively, almost like running an equation over and over on a supercomputer—read: Six Eyes)

This would normally overload the brain, but Teacher is also passively running Reverse Cursed Energy,

But, that is not the point, no.

The point is—

I reached Teacher and thrusted my staff forward,

His relaxed demeanour and smug smile faltered for a second as he realised that my staff was reaching for him.

Quickly dodging to the side (Teacher was still an expert in CQC, after all, it was expected, not to mention Six Eyes reaction time),

Teacher side stepped to the left to avoid falling off balance.

—with my knowledge of how Limitless is utilised, and my eyes which helped me see Cursed Energy,

Plus my insane supercomputer brain, I was able to keep up with the calculation of Teacher's,

And find gaps in the threads of barrier technique.

Infusing my staff with Cursed Energy to invoke a simulation of Black Flash,

I was able to off-set the Cursed Energy flowing in the barrier keeping it stable,

And thrusted it forward to break through Infinity.

Ha ha! Take that Teacher! Your days of bullying me until I'm half-dead is over!

The grin on Teacher's face was swapped with a genuine wide smile.

"Disciple, you have come far,"

He smiled as he dashed back with his feet emitting black and red lighting.

[Black Flash]

"But I am still your master~, so show some respect or I will have to beat it into you."

He grinned again.

Teacher really is a prodigy, he just copied my manipulation of Black Flash like it's nothing… (not that I can say anything, I made this insane technique).

"Heh, Teacher, you are talking about respect? Seems like you've matured as well! Ha ha!"

I laughed, we both laughed.

Genuine joy coming out of the both of us,

"Very well! Bring it on, my disciple!"

We both dashed towards each other as the colour of red and black covered the entire grass field.

I was constantly saving and reviewing cutscenes,

Calculating the barrier technique, and finding the threads,

And Teacher was also constantly improving,

Each gap I found and exploited, he fixed the next moment.

As I felt a terrible headache while I was in a cutscene, I quickly ran Reverse Cursed Technique through my head.

Eventually, it became a contest of brains over brawns,

It was a matter of who was capable of calculation faster and predicting what was next.

I finished my calculation, and stabbed my staff towards Teacher's chest,

He predicted I was aiming there as he then fixed the gap in a bluff,

Saved. Review.

Pulling myself back into a cutscene, I immediately calculated the next possibility,

Taking less than .01 of a second, I immediately calculated the next gap.

While my Eyes calculation power was far less than the Six Eyes,

The cutscenes allowed me to match it purely in terms of perception of time.

Immediately pushing my staff to the left, I aimed at the shoulders this time,

Teacher dodged as it passed through Infinity,

He then pushed my staff away with his forearm,

[Black Flash]

Again, using my technique of Black Flash to break my staff,

I was then forced into close quarters combat as I threw my staff away.

It was a lot harder for CQC as I had to find a gap wide enough to try and make one.

With my staff, I had a more pin-point target I could stab,

But with my fists, I had to be careful or else I'll be caught in Infinity and won't be able to move.

All I could do was try and interrupt the infinity that touches me when Teacher hits me.

So that I won't be stunned in a combo.

Teacher sent a jab that I dodged and block with my right,

Invoking Black Flash the moment I saw contact with the barrier,

I glitched Infinity in such a specific way that it malfunctions,

Of course, this also took a lot of calculation.

I then pushed his left off my right and tried sending a left hook,

I quickly saved and review the moment, watching and observing all the threads of Cursed Energy.

As I reach the barrier I activated Black Flash to try and interrupt it again,

But this time Teacher has caught on as he reverse-calcuated my malfunction and fixed the barrier.

Damn genius… (said the genius).

My left did not reach as I had to pull back before he can trap me by holding me.

I quickly went back to the cutscene to try and buy time for strategy,

And just as I was about to, I saw Teacher ready to dash forward before glancing towards his side.

"Satoruu! Someone is here to see you!!"

I stopped as I heard the voice of a certain Panda.

I closed the game-like HUD and walked towards the side where I had my water and towel.

Wiping my sweat away, I chugged the water and put it back down as I glanced at Teacher.

Teacher teleported to Panda and the two were engaging in a conversation,

I then prepared myself to walk towards them as well—

Turning my head towards the direction of the school,

I felt a huge amount of cursed energy, and at a unique quality as well.

"Well, this was unexpected."

I heard Teacher said with a grin.

I jogged towards them,

I wasn't worried, both me and Teacher were here,

Whatever threat it could be, it wasn't really that alarming.

And also, with the amount of Cursed Energy I felt (which was on the level of Geto's), if it was a hostile, it would have destroyed something already.

"Teacher, what's that?"

"Well, disciple, it is our fellow Special Grade."

Huh? There were only four Special Grades in the world before me,

I essentially replaced Geto in the title,

And Yuta was demoted after he released Rika,

So there was only one possibility.

It was the lazy Special Grade Sorcerer that ignores orders more than Teacher, and spends most of her time overseas.

Yuki Tsukumo.

And as I felt the presence got closer, I readied my eyes to save the scene, just in case she's hostile.

After a few moments of waiting, we heard the sound of a motorbike.

Eventually, it arrived in front of us.

There was a figure riding it, a slender feminine figure wearing a biker's helmet.

The figure was wearing a leather jacket over a dark turtle neck, and she wore a cream coloured jean.

Due to the helmet, I was unable to see her face.

At least not until,

She parked the bike, and stood up.

Reaching her hand up towards her helmet, she pulled it off.

Long golden threads were set free as it flew freely, pushed by the light breeze.

Her eyes were closed as she shook her head to set adjust her long hair.

She had a small smile the entire time, but as small as it was, I was able to feel the cheerfulness of it.

And, then, she finally opened her eyes.

Light-red eyes stared at us–me.

And as she took off her jacket, she hung it over her shoulder,

Revealing her pale slender arms from the sleeveless turtleneck.

Slighty bending one of her knee, she pushed her hips to the side, and adopted a feminine pose.

And then she spoke.

Her high voice carried a sense of happiness and cheerfulness to it,

"Hey! New Special Grade, Fujiwara! What is your type!"

She was exactly my type.

I don't think this was love at first sight or whatever bullshit,

But I knew she was someone I would eventually develop a crush on.

"You."

I replied while I was lost in thought,

"Eh?"

"My type is you."

Scene saved.
