Village Meeting

Inside the Hokage Building a disccussion is underway, on each side of the long table, a Major and Minor clan sitting on each seat headed by Hiruzen Sarutobi. except that the one who actually does the talking is a man with a bandage covering half of his face.

"We need to Retailate!"

"Their actions is undisguised provocation against us Konoha!"

Hitting his fist against the table, an angry looking Danzo giving death stare at each of the clan patriarch that attends the meeting.

However many of the clan patriarch either look away or looking at the map in the middle of the table or reading the mission scroll result, acting like they doesn't speak the same language as Danzo.

Except of course Uchiha Tajima, a really old man that has been through the war-torn era, the father of Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna , he's so old that he looks like he's done with life itself.

Looking at the Uchiha Patriarch who speak against him, Danzo can only reply with a snort and sit back down.

Most of the patriarch in the meeting nods in agreement, some stay quiet and some let out a frown but each had their own consideration for their own clan and Konoha future.

After both of them left, he thought about how the clan first, village second still have influence because the old people still have a lot of say in the clan.

Hiruzen doesn't like how they still think about their own clan first, the village should come first , especially the Uchiha clan which his sensei reminded him to be wary of.

He need the Uchiha patriarch to change to someone less experienced in politics, someone less opinionated, someone who.. listen.

"Possibly" said Sakumo uncertain of his more mature than his peer of a disciple goal.

"Did you know whether he will go to the ninja academy?"

"Yes ,Sandaime-sama, i believe so,he talk about going to the academy next year, something he's excited about, just like kids his age"

Outside the Hokage building , where each of the clan patriarch going on their own way alone like the Hyuga Clan patriarch, some are talking with each other while walking along the way.

"Patriarch Tajima , i heard you're selecting the next Uchiha patriarch soon?"

"Yes, i'm not getting younger after all" 

"Patriarch, you are joking. i'm sure you can continue as long as you want" said the Kurama clan patriarch with a smile.

"No, the future need to be decided by the young one, not a senile old man like me"

"Have you decided on a candidate? , is it the Wicked Eye Fugaku i've heard about?"

"Nothing is set in stone yet"

"I envy you patriarch Tajima, our Kurama clan on the other hand, each one is worse than the other"

"Then you should look for a marriage partner from the other clan" said patriarch Tajima with no emotion on his face.

"Hahaha, just like your Uchiha clan we pride ourselves on our Genjutsu, so i can differentiate between what's real or not real, and only our own strength is real not something like clan marriage" the Kurama clan patriarch , laughing from the funniest joke he's heard all day, stopped his movement and said

"Well this is where we part way patriarch Tajima , hopefully we never see each other soon, if all is well the next time i met you should be in Pure Land" said the Kurama clan patriarch before laughing away still reeling from the marriage joke.

"You really doesn't change.." Patriarch Tajima shake his head and continue walking toward the Naka shrine to pray for his dead sons in the pure land, before going home.

"Madara.., Izuna... the future is getting more uncertain, if only someone as strong as one of you exist in the clan, i wouldn't need to worry anymore and i can rest assured to meet you two in the pure land"
