Cerulean Phoenix [2]

Rhys saw the egg cracking, his eyes shone brightly as life vision was activated, life vision allowed Rhys to be able to track anything that had 'life' in them as well as see the flow of life everywhere. In this case, he was seeing how the life flow of the cerulean phoenix was.

The egg slowly was cracked away, as shells fell into the ice altar, which then slid down into the frozen ground, the yin in the area peaked before it was all absorbed by the beautiful blue eagle-like bird. Its cerulean feathers burned with blue flames, ice flames. Its blue feathers had light blue veins all over them, making the phoenix that had just been born look regal.

The moment it was born, its size surpassed Rhys's, it came from an egg twice his size, naturally, she too was bigger than Rhys. Rhys saw the cerulean phoenix look at him before it straighten and stood majestically.

'Beautiful.' Rhys felt those words did the cerulean phoenix well, Rhys had never seen a real phoenix, only in his memories from Swarshlen. But that was a Scarlet Phoenix, a fire attributed phoenix instead of ice.

"Are you the one who is bound to be my master?~" The Cerulean Phoenix spoke out, its feminine voice made Rhys feel surprised, not because it was a female, he knew that, but because it did not sound childish as he'd expect.

"I told you she was older than you! She developed in the egg, although not much." Ina yelled in his mind.

Rhys replied after a few seconds, "I guess so? To be honest I just got you, one of my women used her yin to make a habitable zone for your incubation."

The cerulean phoenix stayed quiet as if it was lost in thought, before it spoke out, "So you are. You acquired me, you are the first person I see as well as the only one in here."

Rhys nodded slightly, "So, what now. Do we make some form of pact? Oath? Or is it just like this?"

The cerulean phoenix merely shook its plumage before it replied, "Well, my bloodline memories tell me I must make some form of contract with someone I choose as a master if anyone at all."

Rhys nodded, suppressing the phoenix blood inside of him before he began moving towards the cerulean phoenix. Meanwhile, the cerulean phoenix stared at him, its big blue eyes shining with curiosity.

'Scarlet Phoenix blood? No, part of it is. But the rest is something my bloodline memories have no idea of.' It thought as it felt Rhys's familiar aura, the aura of a phoenix.

Rhys got stopped in front of the big bird, who stood 1.5x times taller than him, Rhys felt a chilly aura as blue flames burned on its whole body, yet the flames were mostly for self-protection.

"So how do we make this contract?"

"I must take your blood and you must take mine, making a contract via blood is the best."

Rhys's eyes narrowed, 'Will it be fine if it takes my converted blood? Thankfully there is some blood inside of my veins that is somewhat normal.'

"The contract will be a master-servant contract, with you as the master and I as the servant, that should pose no problems I hope?"

"None." Rhys replied.

"Okay, the contract has other conditions, but they will only be revealed when the contract is made, I assure you it is nothing bad."

Rhys did not reply, he merely nodded.

Rhys and the cerulean phoenix quickly did the contract, his blood and hers were exchanged and drank. Before the blood was absorbed by their bodies and made a blood contract.

The contract was a master-servant type contract, Rhys got to have authority over her, she would not be able to betray, lie, hurt him or anyone related to him. In exchange, Rhys must make sure to help her grow and not give orders that go against her ideals.

Rhys felt annoyed about the last part but in the end, he did not care. The cerulean phoenix felt slight surprise when it ate Rhys's blood, 'Dragon, elf, spirit, and phoenix... interesting.'

Rhys spoke out at this time, "You will need a name, thus I will name you Genesis, it is nice to meet you." Rhys made a slight smile after naming Genesis, who reacted by polymorphing into a humanoid form.

'Polymorphing, the ability all emperor-grade beasts and above have, allowing them for perfect reshaping of their bodies into a humanoid form that copies every organ a human would have. Something I will obtain when I get to 100% purity.' Rhys thought, he mentioned emperor-grade, a new form of rating different things, the real way only Paragons knew off as they had lived for a long time.

The cerulean phoenix's body shrunk to about five feet ten inches, her hair was cerulean that reached her mid-back, her eyes were blue and shone with intelligence, but much to Rhys's surprise, the body of Genesis was well-developed. Of course, it wasn't like Edea's or Aurora's, but it was developed enough to get some gazes.

'How can someone who stayed inside an egg for so long have such a body?' Rhys felt like this was not fair, his body was beginning to grow hot, yet he simply ignored it. The beauty of Genesis surprised him, her skin was very, very pale and her beauty could be considered divine.

Before Rhys could feast upon her naked body, a blue robe covered her body and tied itself around it like a second skin, so even with that Rhys could still see her curves.

Genesis looked at Rhys and spoke respectfully, "Master, it is likewise nice to meet you. I will make sure to be useful to you." She bowed, like a princess.

Rhys felt like laughing at her words, 'She is too weak now, thankfully I have materials for her.' Rhys thought as he looked at her pitiful True-King Cultivation.

"Mhm, here," Rhys gave her the ring with the ice-related materials for her use, "Use this to become stronger, now you are too weak."

Genesis looked at the ring and took it, she scanned it and her eyes almost popped out, her bloodline memories told her she should eat these materials to get stronger.

"Thank you, master!" She bowed once more, Rhys smiled at her cute act.

Author's Note: I will be going on a hiatus for a week, I will re-write all earlier chapters, I feel like I rushed shit too much. Thus I will start to re-edit them and rewrite them, some things will be removed and some added, but nothing major that would change the pace of the story. Because of this, I will be unable to post chapters, I have many written but they are stockpiled for later, this will be the last chapter of the week.
