Good news

Kevin was very efficient in his work and Eve got the call of confirmation after a simple audition. Miramax didn't think much of accepting a newcomer as a lead actress. Anyway, the investment doesn't solely belongs to them. There is no harm in having good relationship with Kevin Huvane with just a simple favor.

Eve started working on the set of "Scream". Scream is a pure newcomer horror movie with unknown actors expect Cox Cortney who is known for her role as Monica Geller in "Friends". The producer is Bob Weinstein and Director is somewhat famous. Was Craven is a famous horror movie director and he didn't say much to Miramax's approach of getting a total newcomer to play the lead heroine. It doesn't matter to him who play the lead role because a horror movie doesn't demand much acting skills. He was directing the movie only because he likes the script and had a favor to repay to Weinstein brothers.

Eve's day were a little boring. Almost all the actors on the set are much older than her and she doesn't interact much them. The only person she knew beforehand is Drew Barymore. They both belong to somewhat influential families in Hollywood and have seen each other at parties and banquets before. In fact, the role of Sidney was first offered to Drew Barrymore, but she refused as she had another work to shoot. So in the end, she played a supporting role which only appears for few minutes.

The filming of the movie was completed by the end of June, and the crew will officially return for the pre-promotion in September, after the post production of the movie is completed.

Kevin completed his promise and Eve didn't see Harvey the whole time on the set. She met a few times with Bob, Harvey's older brother on the set. He is a nice or you can say a much smarter guy. Knowing Eve's relationship with Liam Thompson and Kevin Huvane, he tried to be as much polite with her as much a producer could be with an actor.

After completing the filming of "Scream", Eve's life returned back to what it was before. Her high school has already been completed a year ago, and she hasn't applied to a college yet. In morning, she attends acting and ballet classes and is free rest of the time. She has no work to do now as both of her movies have not been released yet. As for Broadway, she has already stopped performing there.

Sitting in a huge villa alone, Eve looked at the roses in the flower pot and sighed. They seem much more happier than her. At least, they have company of others. Her life has been like this since many years now. Both Liam and Keira are busy in their own lives. It's not like they don't focus or give any attention to her. They are very good and cooperative with each other for the sake of her co parenting, especially in the last few years. They spend time with her or even have monthly family dinners together, and it's more than what she could ask for.

The problem is not others. She herself has been a little silent since she was a kid. Although she might be a child, but still she is in her late twenties mentally. She would not form groups and friendships with other kids and never interacted with others. Her talent for ballet and Broadway was discovered much earlier and she spent most of her childhood in theaters and classes. Being beautiful, talented and mature, these are the qualities which made Eve a model child in the eyes of adults since she was a kid, but this also distanced her from her peers. No one wants to be with someone who is good at everything. Everyone desires perfection, but they accept when a living example of it appears in their daily lives.

As a result of it, there are not many people of her age group who can be called her friends. Most of people whom she can call friends are much older than her. Maybe Leo is the first peer of her age whom she got close with, and the reason might be that children in Hollywood mature early. All the friends she has basically belongs to Vanity fair.

Liam Thompson returned late from the event and as he entered the house, he saw his baby girl sleeping in font of the window opening to garden in a sitting posture.

Nanny came to help wake up Eve, but Liam stopped with a hand signal. He went to Eve's place and sat opposite to her. Looking at his overally excellent daughter, he sighed. Eve is a perfect child in everyone's eyes, but he doesn't want her to be so perfect. He wants his daughter to be naughty, unruly and childish as other kids. She has always been mature and indifferent to everything, but as a father, he can see the sadness hidden in her heart, which maybe she hasn't discovered even herself. He doesn't understand the source of sadness too, and can try to unravel the knots in her heart slowly, and do his best to make her happy.

Eve woke up comfortably next morning. It must be Nanny who helped her to the bed. She hurriedly got ready and went for the breakfast downstairs. Liam was also present. After having a brief greeting with him, she started her breakfast.

"I have talked with James and other executive. James saw your previous Broadway performances and audition clips you shot, and has promised to consider you for the casting."

Eve heard Liam's voice. She felt as if she was dreaming. She hurriedly looked up and asked: "Really?"

Liam nodded: "Yes"

"What about the other executive and President?"

Liam replied: "If your two movies can perform good at the box office, then they don't have any problem with it."

Studio doesn't think this Big Ship will do any good performance. So if Eve's two movies can really perform good at box office, then they don't mind choosing one of their own, as long as Director agrees. Anyway, Eve Thompson's background belongs to studio's line and her salary will be much lower.

Eve smiled happily and her face was like a flower in bloom. She cannot describe how happy she was for finally getting the opportunity. She happily hugged Liam: "Thank you Dad. It means a lot to me."

Liam was surprised by his daughter's sudden enthusiasism, but then hugged back: "It all worth it if it's for my daughter. My little Eve will become the brightest star."

"I am not little anymore." Eve refuted.

"But for me you are." Liam laughed and bit the slice in his hand. It feels good to have such sweet family moments.
