In the midst of the Viking age, a young man has a birthright that few can begin to comprehend in its totality; himself included. The secrets and technology of an alien race allowed the Balderklan, a once small and dwindling people, to ascend into the realm of historic legend, their perks of understanding unbound by the old limitations that life offered them prior.
They became the most powerful beings on the planet, a world yet to be properly mapped out.
Indeed, the innovations of rare geniuses and the persistence of patient men wiser than their time resulted in the birth of three brothers that could be considered the next step in human evolution, with the mind-boggling technology melded with their bodies naturally.
Born into a position unlike anyone else in human history, Primus Odhinkar and his brothers, Lars and Soren, seek to discover who and what they are, while destiny carves the path they stride together. The road is paved with good intentions, yet the misfortune of a thrall may come forth to avenge his now devistated people while desperately hanging onto his humanity with sheer faith.
While the truths of reality can be discovered through the technology these boys weild, the secrets hint toward a catastrophic imbalance that not even the Grand Elder of the alien race could prepare them for. They have only the lessons of their people to reflect on how and why they came here, to avoid the same cataclysm that may occur in this world just the same.
