The night was beautiful with the star-studded sky. In the distance, the crashing of sea waves could be heard. Two silhouettes, one slender & tall, the other, a little shorter with beautiful feminine curves. The slender guy was wearing a white tee, a zipless black jumper & a pair of black jeans. His left hand covered the eyes of the girl & the fairy lights above danced their lights on his slick black hair. His clean, shaved face had a pointed nose, high cheekbones & a pair of clear, onyx black eyes.

The girl was wearing a long black kurta, paired by light yellow flared pants. Her pointed nose stuck out under his big palm. Her chest length hair swayed gently in the sea breeze. Her cherry-red lips were curled up in a beautiful smile, revealing two sets of sparkling, white teeth.

"Dhruv, where are you taking me?" Janhvi's laughter rang out in the night sky.

"Let me lead you to the night", Dhruv whispered seductively in her ears.

"Dhruv!" she nudged him playfully.

Finally, they stopped & Dhruv slipped his arms into a gentle bear hug. Janhvi lifted her eyelids & revealed a pair of clear, brown eyes. Her eyes took in everything & her smile grew wide. Rows & rows of fairy lights lined the night sky & the sand carpet was charmed with rose petals. The rose petals were formed into the words, "I love you, Janhvi."

Janhvi's lips parted but nothing came out. She turned her head & warmth engulfed her lips. She closed her eyes. When their lips parted, Janhvi had her eyes glistening. The next moment, Dhruv kneeled down on a knee & pulled out a tiny, blue velvet box. He opened it & a simple platinum ring studded with white stones was visible. Dhruv parted his lips, "Will you marry me?"

Janhvi gasped & a tear rolled down her right eye. She nodded, "Yes!"

He took her left hand & slipped the ring onto her ring finger. Then, he stood up & pulled her into a hug. Janhvi hugged back & her lips curled into an evil smirk.

Not too far away, in the distance, another girl, similar inbuilt to Janhvi, wore an evil smirk. She was wearing a blue crepe top & a white long skirt that swayed in the sea breeze. Her short bob-cut, black bangs framed her petite face. Her facial features were similar to Janhvi. No doubt, she was her sister, Manvi. She signaled a thumbs up to Janhvi, who smirked back.

A month later

"Sis, you look damn amazing!" Manvi almost jumped with excitement.

"After all, she is the daughter-in-law of the Mittal family", Neil, her adoptive brother, smirked.

Janhvi smirked, as she adjusted her jhoomkas1️⃣. Her head was adorned by maangtikaa2️⃣. Heavy necklaces covered her neck & chest. She was wearing a red blouse & red lehenga3️⃣. Golden threads were worked on the chest & hem of the lehenga. Her long, dark hair was tied into a bun & a golden barrette was studded on it. A golden dupatta4️⃣ flowed down from her hand. A perfect bridal look, the dream of every girl.

Manvi also wore a pink lehenga & a necklace adorned her neck with a matching pair of earrings. Neil was wearing a blue kurta-pajama & a white dupatta.

"My daughters are the most beautiful in the entire world", Amma, the eunuch spoke, while she smacked Neil's forehead.

"Ouch!" Neil cried out, as he rubbed his forehead.

"And the most dangerous too", Manvi finished Amma's words as she tilted her face & pouted in a seductive manner.

Amma was wearing a blue saree5️⃣ & she was followed by two other eunuchs. She was the adoptive mother of Janhvi, Manvi & Neil.

"Let's go. Your hubby is waiting eagerly", Manvi peeked out of the room & said.
