The starting of the end (Part 2) - Chapter 2

(*Author's note* Hi readers, just to let you know, this chapter is also written in Elizabeth's point of view! Thanks for reading! Sorry if there are any grammatical errors in this chapter but I hope you enjoy!)

I sat in class, eyeing the clock, waiting for the bell to ring that signaled the end of the period.

"Class, in the latest exam, most people did extremely bad. If you got a 70% or lower, then please get it signed by your parent or guardian and bring it in tomorrow otherwise you will receive detention." the teacher announced in front of the classroom.

The other students broke out in groans as they all knew they did bad but I remained silent. I knew I did well. I always did well. After all, I was Elizabeth; daughter of one of the three most influential people in the universe and beyond. My father was a public figure so I obviously stuck out of the rest of the students in my school but I wasn't popular, in fact, I was somewhat of an outcast. I guess because of my pale, white skin, my blood red lips, and my long, black hair was intimidating and maybe even convinced everyone that I was a vampire or something. Although vampires are pretty common, they are also pretty dangerous and others have the right to assume I was as well. After all, vampires are my servants according to the hierarchy meaning that even though vampires are scary, they are minnows compared to me; a great white shark. Anyway, the bell finally rang right after the teacher passed out the papers in a flash. She was a cheetah. Her cat ears the stuck out of her hair with the cheetah print and her agility gave it away. In my world, she wasn't s random huge cat that could talk but rather a humanoid; something that looks like a human but isn't. Everything else with my teacher's body was human except for her tail, her ears, and the speed along with the other attributes of a cheetah. As I headed for my locker, I grabbed my paper of my desk. As I reached the door for the classroom, I waited until the sea of teenagers would slow down. After about 30 seconds, there was enough space for me to get to my locker. My duty awaited as souls needed to be retrieved from the bodies of those who needed to go beyond the veil. I could tell from my moonstone that vibrates and somewhat glowed.
