His eyes never faltered in their lock on hers, and as if the heat between them wasn't enough, the man just had to reach out, and softly graze her face with his fingers.
"Why?" He repeated in a whisper, his breath doing sinful things to her skin, "Because I have plans for ruining you... completely."
Gala's voice was stuck in her throat. She couldn't even breathe at all, and she was bewildered at herself when she actually spoke back at him before he withdrew, "Don't be surprised. You might just be the one who's gonna end up getting ruined...badly."
