Get reincarnated with a few extra bonuses. Go on to live a fun new life. The classic, cliche formula. Something Shin had read about multiple times but never expected to experience. But even so, when he was finally faced with this very same situation, he knew exactly what to do. Go into the Pokemon world, travel, and have fun. Simple, right? Well... not exactly. Because Shin wasn't born in Pallet Town. Or even a big city in one of the major regions. No... he was in the Crown Tundra. As a ten-year-old child. With no Pokemon. He'll be fine.
