Chapter 84. Successive Breakthroughs

Inside the secret cultivation chamber,

Tirus sat cross-legged at the center of a formation, part of which was made for controlling vengeful spirits and beings of that nature.

"A.I. chip, show me my stats." He ordered the A.I. chip and it loyally obliged.

"Pretty fast cultivation, really." During the past century, aside from researching, Tirus had been cultivating deligently. Coupled with his seemingly unending supply of resources and almost perfect cultivation technique, this speed was only expected.

Not only that, his soul cultivation was extremely fast as well, at least when compared to ordinary magi of the same realm.

Soul force was a very mysterious energy and was unique to the magi. Most other races in the entire Astral Plane didn't cultivate soul force but other energies unless they followed the cuktivatiob path of the magi.

Soul force was different from spiritual force, this was an innate energy which could be cultivated in order to increase its quality and quantity. It was like the stats of Strength, agility and vitality, but much more powerful and versitile. But due to how profound this energy was, there were barely any methods to properly cultivate this, especially in the current times.

Most Morning Star magi could never reach the Radiant Moon realm due to not being able to properly cultivate their soulforce to a certain extent. And so, they used even the crudest ways if it meant increasing their soul force even by a little, like by spreading their soul force in the astral plane to sense new worlds. But this method was simply too costly.

But Tirus didn't suffer from this kind of problem because he had gotten the inheritance and memories of the ancient magus, Plaguemancer, who had a method of devouring truesouls of other beings for cultivating one's soulforce.

Every living being had a little amount of spiritual force in them, even if it was low to the point of being undetectable, it was still there and so was the truesoul. By devouring the living being's root of origin, their truesoul, one could increase their soulforce.

"Start the first formation." Tirus casually said but his voice travelled afar and reached the alchemic puppets and they turned the formation on.

The entire formation began to glow in an eerie green light.

*Woo*

The sound of tens of thousands of wraiths began resounding everywhere as they appeared aroudn Tirus, encircling him.

'Hmph.' Tirus coldly snorted and opened his mouth and started using his soul devour technique.

"Arghh! Save me..." The wraiths continued their wailings as they saw other wraiths beibg ruthlessly devoured by Tirus. One by One.

[Beep! Host's spiritual force and soul force have reached a critical value...]

After a few days of continuously devouring wraiths,

[Beep! Host has reached the Full Moon Stage of the Radiant Moon realm]

Tirus inspected his sea of consciousnes,

Inside his sea of consciousness, at the center, the dark silvery lotus had now fully enveloped the point mass, and, as long as he cultivated till the peak of the Full Moon stage and got the right stimulant, he'd be able to breakthrough to Breaking Dawn realm as easily as breathing.

"My stats." Tirus cancelled the technique and looked at his stats.

"Hm..." Tirus looked satisfied at his new stats but he didn't stop.

Tirus rubbed the storage ring on his finger and took out a blood red coloured potion. This potion was emitting a very dense amount of fire attributed spiritual force. This was a special potion that Tirus created from a single drop pf the rank 6 bloodline of the Sun's child, of course, he wouldn't use all of that priceless blood recklessly.

Even though Tirus wasn't a warlock, but he still had his A.I. chip, and also the fact that he had successfully integrated fire spiritual force in his cultivation with the help of the modified dark lotus technique he was able to absorb both fire and dark spiritual forces in order to cultivate.

Now, his A.I. had found out a way to utilize the Sun's child bloodline to create an extremely potent potion. This bloodline was at rank 6, at the border between the realm of mortality and the realm of laws. Just being in its presence had caused Elena's ancient red dragon bloodline to increase in quality and even aided Tirus's cultivation a bit, it was an important fact that this was all just the effect of the bloodline's aura.

"Now then..." He opened the vial and drank the potion while turning on the formation. As soon as the potion entered his body, it started emitting intense heat waves which could easily kill ordinary rank 1 magi.

The light being emitted from the formation turned scarlet in colour and some lines of the formation changed automatically.

*Zuu*

The spirital energy travelled violently throughout his entire body, if it weren't for this formation controlling this energy, his body would've already exploded.

"Gaah..." He spat a mouthful of blood, then gritted his teeth and continued.

His spiritual force showed explosive growth, from 3100 points, it shot upto 3400 and then 3780 points...3860...3900...3999...3999.99.

And his soul force shot up directly to 399 points.

The soul of a Radiant Moon was a large and full sphere filled with negative (Yin) energy. The Requirements for reaching the peak of Full Moon stage was when the spiritual force approached the value of 4000, and the soul force reached the peak, transforming the negative energy from a moon into a positive (Yang) energy, making it look like a Sun, thus entering the realm of Breaking Dawn. Becoming a Monarch. This was a pipe dream for most magi in the world, but Tirus was infinitely close to achieving this realm within 500 years of age.

'One final push.' He thought as he circulated his spiritual force according to the instructions in the final stage of his cultivation technique, the record of the nameless wanderer.

The sound of a huge explosion resounded in the Arctic region, which was situated below the Twilight Zone, this sound was so intense that it could've caused a great amount of ordinary living being's deaths if there were any near this place. It originated from the destruction of a formation, which was being used by the sole rank 5 magus of this place.

In the sky of the Barren region, there was a new miniature sun, but different from an ordinary sun, it was emitting a dark light, majestically and emitting an aura that the inhabitants of this place had never experieced before.
