Chapter 3-Meeting the man cat

Previously: It final noticed when it pulled to get closer to Jasper and noticed it wasn't stuck anymore,it stopped growling then it turned it head towards its hind leg before looking at me with a confused look then back at Jasper,it stretched the leg then ran off.

"Oh you don't need to thank us you're welcome!"Jasper said in an annoyed voice.

Almost making me laugh,I shook my head at him and smiled while he looked pissed off.

"Idiot,come on little miss I need to help every animal in need,let's get outta here." He said walking in the direction we came from.

We kept walking for a while till we heard........

We heard the sound of bushes rustling and a twig snapped.

"Oh come on,I swear if this thing is another life threatening moment,I'm going to losing my mind." Jasper said in a voice of annoyance.

"Oh come on,I finally find out I'm alive and some fucked up animal wants to kill us again,I'm fucking tired,you know what come out you motherfucker don't keep me waiting,if I am going to die then at least I'll die fighting."I said,I was seriously tired of almost dying.

I stood ready to fight I had my pepper spray in hand the rustling got closer and closer till the bushes parted what walked I mean who walked was handsome looking man cat or something like that.

Looking at him makes me think, ' Are people fucking animals here or what? Hey who am I to judge sure it's disgusting and all but dang if that's the outcome go ahead, Wait Cora focus he could try to kill us.' So I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Who are you?" I asked in calmish shaky since I kinda scared.

He looked me and splitter over with suspicion but put a smile on his face but it was obvious Jasper didn't notice that cause he babblered on.

"The lady asked you a question,answer."he said annoyed.

The man looked us over inching his hands closer to his sword. 'Shit I'm going to get killed by some cat human crossbreed, wow tick that off my bucket list.'

"Pardon my manners,my lady, but if I may ask why should a lady such as yourself be wandering around in the forest on her own?" He asked politely.

But it's very obvious he's suspicious of us we better tread lightly I don't know but something is telling me this man could overpower us easily but Jasper being the full that he is jumped infront of me and puffed his chest, 'Stupid griffin,he is gonna end up pissing the wrong person off and get us both killed.'

"She is not alone she has me."He said in a bold voice, 'A bold voice that could get us killed I swear Jasper is a moron.'

The cat-man thing looked at Jasper strange then turned look at me then started looking me up and down with a small smirk and I couldn't tell weither to be scared or angry, 'Is this bastard eye raping me? I swear if he tries anything I'll knee him in the balls then grab Jasper and run, I have had my fair share of pricks in my life like some drunk idiot at the bar where I work or atleast used to work at since I'm here say dumb stuff like when you ask if that would be all and they'll say "I'd like a tall glass of you please" or grab your arm and say "Are Cinderella cause I see that dress disappearing by midnight" and some other dumb comments and I would just wanna give a slap that their momma's failed to deliver I ain't some bar waitress slut I have my dignity plus I'm waiting for my Mr. right he is the only one I'll ever let touch me but seems like dream is shattered since I'm stuck here now,huhhhh anyway back to reality,well as real as this is." The strange cat-man guys smile spread.

"A talking beast wow! My lady do you happen to be a beast tamer of some sorts?" He asked he looked sincere but before I could answer the moron Jasper had to open his big mouth.

"huuh, how dare you the great Jasper cannot be tamed I am a wild ferocious beast,firstly and then secondly yes I can talk, do you have a problem with that?! Huh yeah that's what I thought nothing,I can talk deal with it." He said in an offended voice.

'I swear, he is such a drama queen or king as he says and man does he have a big mouth,just look all big talk now but back at the cave he running around screaming like some baby,I swear this is not serious.' He at us both with a curious look.

"Hmmm,interesting a talking beast and a strangely dress lady,hmmm could you be from another world? But I thought the ritual hasn't been performed yet then how could-" He was unable to finish his was cut off by a voice.

"Hey Quinn are you done inspecting the perimeter yet? Or are you just enjoying nature? Look I'm sure nothing is there,you know what I'm coming to check it myself." A strange male voice came from behind the bushes.

Then a strange blue hair guy walked through the bushes,'His blue hair kinda looked like mine but—hey why am I thinking about similarities between us,stay focused Cora they might be deadly.'

He looked at me then back at the cat-man who I'm guessing is Quinn at first he smiled playful like but when he noticed Quinn's hand on his sword his smiled dropped for a second before he quickly replaced it then turned to look at me with an innocent look.

"Oh pardon me, I am Aaron and you are?"He asks me with calm voice though I know not to let my guard down I smile and take a calming breath.

"I'm Cora and my friend over here is Jasper,pleased to meet you."I say in a calm voice so as not to alert them in anyway Aaron smiles and nods.

"Okay,Miss Cora but what are you doing in the middle of the forest and where are you from." He asks in a cautious voice.

I debate on whether to tell them the truth or lie,but I decide to tell them the truth after why Lie.

"Well I'm from earth and the reason why I was walking around in the forest is because I woke up in Cave not too far from here so I was walking to see if I can get help cause I don't where I am or how I got here."I say innocently.

He seems to ponder over what I just said,stealing glances at me and Jasper then at Quinn he lifts his head considering what to say.

"You said, you are from earth,so are you from another world and what about the griffin?" He asked plainly I nod and answer.

"Well,I think I'm from another world since my world is nothing like here but as for Jasper I meet him here but has no idea about his past life and we have been together since." I say sincerely he nods and then sighs.

He opens his mouth to speak but was interrupt by a rustling in the bushes then some growls we..........
