Chapter 1 - The Beginning part.1

Looking at the information on the screen, Brian was confused. Not knowing what to do, he called Professor Augustus.

"TEACHER!" He screamed. Despite this, no one was surprised. Everyone was already used to Brian's screams.

"Brian, I told you to stop shouting. If you want to talk to me, come to me. No, just say my name, I'm not deaf." said the teacher helplessly. No matter how much he complains to Brian about it, he never changes. Not bothering to argue, he walked towards Brian.

"So what's the problem?" He said looking at the screen.

"I don't know. The satellites are sending back a bunch of confusing information from coordinate xx°yy'zz." According to the data, there are variations in the magnetic field, temperature and... I don't know for sure but this data here says that these coordinates have more than 10 thousand millisieverts of radiation but this other one says that the radiation level is at 00.01 mSv ."

"That...is impossible. These coordinates are for South America, right? As far as I know, the only radiation accident that occurred in that region was in Brazil. Have you checked the satellites? Make a diagnosis of them."

"Ah, yes I already did. It says everything is ok. I checked the other satellites and the information is the same."

As they looked confused at the data displayed on the screen, what Brian and Professor Augustus didn't know was that several other research centers around the world were receiving the same information...

As they walked along the sidewalk, agents Matias and Roberto did not encounter any problems.

"Sir, we have arrived at the indicated coordinates and there is no problem."

"Understood. You may return." Leonardo replied. He wasn't surprised. The place where the coordinates indicated was a city. No industries, just commerce. As he suspected, it must be a reading problem. Well, he was just following orders. Making up his mind, he went to inform the parties involved.

Walking towards the pharmacy, Zeth was irritated. I mean, who wouldn't be if they were interrupted in the middle of an online match? But well, he still can only resign himself. At several moments Zeth wondered if he should abandon his damn mother? As he was rethinking this, he noticed the people in front of him looking up and pointing. Curious, Zeth turned around and saw...waves? I mean, that was the best discretion of what he was seeing. The sky was rippling. For some reason, this made him nervous. Looking around, Zeth noticed several people filming and taking photos.

"Damn, are they recording something?"

"Wow, that reminds me of when it's hot. You know? When the air is wavering?"

"Holy shit, this is amazing"

"Hey guys from my channel, while I'm traveling I came across this thing here. I think they're filming something? Or maybe it's some paranormal phenomenon? Anyway, all I know is that it's pretty incredible"

Hearing the conversations around him, Zeth calmed down. Well, thinking calmly, it must be a movie they are filming. Becoming interested, Zeth continued looking for a few minutes until he lost interest and went to the pharmacy to buy that bastard's medicine. Finding all the medicines and heading towards the counter, Zeth began to hear a clamor outside. Turning around, he saw a light that was getting brighter. Having a bad feeling, he ran towards the exit and looked up at the sky.

There, high above, there was a light. As bright as the sun itself. No, even brighter. It was advancing in all directions as if it were the big bang itself. And heat...not the scorching heat of a star but heat...good. 'Maybe this is the warmth of a true mother's embrace' he thought. And that was his last thought before the light reached him... and, pain. An indescribable pain. It came as fast as light and went as fast as light.

BOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

It was the last noise he heard.

And then Zeth's consciousness faded.
