Break and Encounter in Ramen Stand

Kojiro, Yasaka, Kunou, and Sakura walk away from the stadium after watching the last fight of the day. He must say that the battle is not good in terms of firepower, especially the battle after Gaara against Sasuke. While Sasuke Uchiha is faster than Gaara but Gaara has automatic defense around his body, making all Sasuke attacks useless against Gaara sand barrier.

Gaara, who doesn't have Shukaku's voice yelling at him twenty-four hours a day, can think clearly about the strategy he needs to use in battle. For example, he let Sasuke attack him with all his Jutsu until the Uchiha avenger tired himself out before sending a wave of sand at Sasuke. This continues for at least an hour before Sasuke becomes desperate and uses his Chidori and charges at Gaara. Sadly for him, he charges at Gaara clone, not the original, making his Chidori useless. Gaara then used his Sand Binding Coffin and captured Sasuke in his Jutsu.

While trapped, Kojiro can see Sasuke try to use the cursed seal on his neck, but sadly, for him, Kakashi has already sealed the cursed seal before the third stage. Just like that, the so-called Uchiha prodigy gets beaten by Genin of Suna. However, he must think that Sasuke has a big disadvantage against Gaara. Not only Gaara has monstrous Chakra inside his body because of Shukaku, but Gaara also has more training in shinobi art than Sasuke, who only has serious training in a few months with Kakashi. Gaara also has semi-sentient sand around him that will protect him from any harm coming toward him.

While he knew that Sasuke successfully hit Gaara using his speed in canon, it was not happening here because there is no Shukaku voice that was distracting Gaara with its sound. That is also the advantage Gaara has after the Konoha sealing division seals Shukaku using a more complex seal than before. Gaara can think clearly and can predict almost all Sasuke movements and flawlessly use his sand to do both defending and attacking his enemy.

Kojiro knows that Sasuke is not weak per see, but he doesn't have the right advantage against Gaara sand. He can melt the sand using fire, but he knows that Sasuke doesn't have that kind of firepower that can melt sand. The only way Kojiro can think of beating Gaara is by using water jutsu to make his sand soggy enough that Gaara has difficulties controlling his sand.

The fight between Kankuro against Shino Aburame can be said as another beatdown. The reason is that Shino bugs eat all the Chakra string Kankuro have made the puppeteer can't control his puppet. However, to the audience's surprise, Kankuro fought Shino using Taijutsu. From there on, both of the contestants fight using their fist. Shino, seeing the disadvantage, tries to make a gap between them. However, Kankuro does not let Shino getaway as Kojiro knows that Kankuro chakra gets absorbed by Shino bugs. They continue to fight using their fist for at least half an hour before Kankuro forfeit because he is already low in chakra, and without his puppet, he cannot do anything useful against Shino.

The last fight is between Temari and Shikamaru Nara. However, he is disappointed in the battle as it was the same as the canon, with Temari as the winner because Shikamaru is too lazy to go to the final.

As they walk away from the stadium, Kojiro snaps from his thought and looks at Yasaka before saying.

"So, where do you want to go?"

"Hmmm, Could we go to the ramen shop from yesterday? What do you guys think?"

Yasaka looked at both Sakura and Kunou.

"EN!"

"Yes, The ramen is delicious, but I like Nii-chan cooking more."

Kojiro smiles at Sakura's answer before patting her head. He also patted Kunou's head after seeing her pouting at him.

"Let's go to the Ichiraku Ramen."

After walking for 15 minutes, they arrive at the iconic Ramen stall in the Naruto series. As they walk near the stall, he can see a familiar orange jacket sitting on the booth, eating ramen after ramen.

"Welcome!"

Kojiro smiles at the owner of the stall, Teuchi. He then orders the Spicy Shoyu Ramen while Yasaka and the children order Tonkotsu Ramen, He also orders two more Miso Ramen for You and Lilith. While waiting for the food to be ready, Kojiro looks at Yasaka, who nudged Kunou and looks at Naruto eating his Ramen with gusto. Kunou then slowly walks toward Naruto and says,

"Em. Excuse me. Are you Naruto Uzumaki?"

"Hm?"

He chuckles a little as Naruto looks at Kunou while still having noodles tangling inside his mouth. He then slurps the noodle before smiling brightly at Kunou and says,

"That's me! Naruto Uzumaki, the future Hokage! Believe it!"

"It's you! I saw you in the tournament earlier. You are so cool!"

"Hehehehe"

Naruto, hearing the praise from Kunou scratched his whisker in embarrassment.

"Thank you."

"My name is Kunou, Nice to meet you Naruto-san."

"Nice to meet you too Kunou-chan."

Kunou then walked to her seat after saying that. Kojiro looks at Naruto, who begins to eat his ramen once again before saying.

"You do a good job in that fight Naruto-kun."

"Really?"

"Yup, not only you don't give Neji advantage by attacking him from far away, you also use your clone effectively. I must say I'm impressed."

"Heeeee, Jii-san, are you a shinobi?"

"Sadly, no. I'm but a humble Samurai."

"Really?!? I never see a Samurai before."

"Hmmm, you can see many samurai in the Capital city of the Land of Fire. Or you can visit the capital country of Samurai, Land of Iron."

"I see."

Kojiro only chuckles at his attempt to understand what he is saying, as he can clearly see that Naruto doesn't know where the Land of Iron is located or at least doesn't know the exact location. He then looks at Teuchi, who walks with their order.

"One Spicy Shoyu Ramen, Three Tonkotsu Ramen, and Two Miso Ramen"

Teuchi then placed down the ramen in front of them and then where he should put the Miso Ramen. He points his finger at both Foul and Lilith that have drool dripping from their mouths. He must say that Teuchi doesn't even question what is happening and places down the bowl of Ramen in front of a Snake and a Squirrel-like creature as if it was just an ordinary day for him.

They then eat their Ramen while Kojiro answers Naruto's question about him being a Samurai. When they finished, they said their goodbye to Naruto, who was still busy eating his tenth bowl of Ramen.

"So, where are we going now?"

"Hmmm, Kojiro-kun, Can you go with Sakura and Kunou alone? I want to try the so-called Jutsu in our private room."

"Go ahead."

"Thank you, Kojiro-kun."

He never knew that Yasaka had the drive to research something new in the field of chakra.
