Skills

"Is that so? If I'm correct, the main story starts after 300 years of my imprisonment," Veldora muttered to himself, the realization hitting him hard. "So I have to wait at least ten years for someone to come and take me out of this damned place." Despair filled his eyes as he contemplated the long, lonely years ahead.

But he quickly shook his head, refusing to succumb to hopelessness. "No, I can't be like that," he thought, his resolve hardening. "At least I have to try to break free from this prison. And even if I can't get out of it, I have to try and get familiar with my power."

Veldora took a deep breath, or what felt like one in his dragon form, and focused his mind.

"Alright, Investigator, tell me about the skills I've got," Veldora commanded, eager to understand his capabilities.

"Oh, the skills are just as I read in the manga," Veldora thought, a mixture of excitement and nostalgia washing over him. But then, something caught his attention. "Wait, what is this 'lost skill' thing? I think I heard its name before losing my consciousness."

{A lost skill is something that should have been recorded in the Voice of the World, but due to unknown reasons, it isn't.}

"Not a very helpful answer," Veldora muttered, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "Okay, tell me about the Contractor skill."

{Lost Skill: Contractor

◑ Can make any contract with the agreement of the other person. The contract will be unbreakable, no matter how powerful the opponent is.

◑ Can purge two souls and absorb them into the owner's soul. This skill can work on any individual, no matter the power difference, but the opponent has to be in a weaker state. After purging two souls, this skill will be deactivated forever.}

"Wow, that's a cool skill," Veldora thought, a grin spreading across his dragon face. "Especially the second part. I can absorb any two individuals' souls, and since ultimate skills and magicule resources are part of a person's soul, there's a huge potential there. But I have to be careful about whom I use it on since I only have two chances."

With this newfound knowledge, Veldora felt a surge of excitement and anticipation. His situation was challenging, but with these powerful abilities at his disposal, he was determined to make the most of it.

"Alright, Investigator, let's get to work," Veldora said, his eyes gleaming with determination. "I've got a lot to learn and a lot to do. Time to figure out how to master these skills and, more importantly, how to break free from this prison."

With a furrowed brow, Veldora focused his mind, calling upon the vast reservoir of magic within him. True Dragon magic flowed through his veins, and with a mere thought, he could unleash devastating spells upon his enemies. Yet, as he unleashed his magic upon the barrier, he found his efforts thwarted at every turn.

Black Flame erupted from his outstretched claws, swirling and dancing with malevolent energy. The flames crashed against the barrier with incredible force, but it remained unyielding, absorbing the dark fire without so much as a flicker.

Next, Veldora summoned bolts of Black Lightning, crackling with raw power. The air hummed with electricity as the lightning struck the barrier, illuminating the void with flashes of brilliant light. But still, the barrier held strong, unaffected by the onslaught of magic.

With a frustrated growl, Veldora unleashed a Storm Blast, a devastating shockwave of energy that rippled through the void. The force of the blast was enough to shatter mountains, yet it merely dispersed harmlessly against the barrier, leaving no trace of its passing.

Undeterred, Veldora turned to elemental magic, summoning torrents of water and gusts of wind to assail the barrier. The elements swirled and danced around him, their power palpable in the air. But like before, the barrier remained unmoved, absorbing the onslaught with ease.

Despite his frustration, Veldora refused to give up. With a determined glint in his eye, he focused his attention on the space element, a domain over which he held unparalleled authority. He attempted to manipulate the fabric of space itself, trying to create a rift or portal to escape. Yet, no matter how hard he tried, the barrier negated his efforts, the space around him remaining stubbornly unchanged.

Veldora cursed under his breath, frustration boiling within him. "It seems this guy was very lazy and useless before," he muttered, his words tinged with bitterness. "He didn't even try to master his own power." He shook his head, berating the real Veldora for his shortcomings.

With a resigned sigh, Veldora shifted his focus to a more direct approach. He extended his mighty claws, each one capable of cutting through any material in the world. With a fierce roar, he slashed at the barrier, pouring all of his strength into each blow. But to his dismay, the barrier remained unscathed, its surface as smooth and flawless as ever.

Veldora knew that this would happen. So he wasn't very disappointed at the result.

The Infinite prison is a subspace created and overlapped over the already existing space making a layer then trapping the target inside, and no it doesn't require magicule to run, since it's just a different space placed there. Although it does restrict the magicules coming in, not the other way around. That's just about to destroy it you'd need to have an ultimate skill at the bare minimum.

Veldora, trapped within the confines of the Infinite Prison, felt the constant leakage of magicules from his body. Every moment, a significant amount of his magical energy seeped out, dissipating into the void around him. It was a wasteful expenditure of power, one that he could ill afford in his current situation.

"I need to learn to control my aura," Veldora thought, his brow furrowing in concentration. "And try to efficiently use my magicules. That will be my target until I find a way to break through the prison."

With a sense of determination, Veldora focused his mind on the task at hand. He delved deep into his reservoir of knowledge and experience, seeking out techniques to harness and control his magical energy.

In the meantime, he decided to employ his Investigator skill to analyze the Infinite Prison. This skill was working at a sluggish pace within the confines of the prison.

Sitting in the middle of the prison, Veldora closed his eyes and concentrated on drawing the leaking aura back into his body. It was a difficult and arduous process, requiring immense focus and control. But Veldora was determined to succeed, knowing that every bit of energy reclaimed would bring him one step closer to his goal.

With each passing moment, Veldora felt the familiar tingling sensation of his aura returning to him. It was a slow and painstaking process, but he refused to give up. Inch by inch, he drew the energy back into himself, feeling his strength and power returning with each passing moment.

But despite his best efforts, Veldora knew that he still had a long way to go. The leaking aura was a constant drain on his resources, and reclaiming it all would require a tremendous amount of time and effort.

Time wasn't a problem since he had 10 years on his hands. All he needed was the determination to keep going.
