Chapter 9: Farming faith points left and right.

Mountain Zone

"Momo watch out!"

The sudden voice made Momo hurriedly turn and look back.

But it was too late!

Through her vision, she could see a villain's knife almost touching the skin on her back, it was too late to react or use her create ability.

Momo reflexively closed her eyes and gritted her teeth to try and endure the coming pain.

except.....the pain never came?

Slowly Momo opened her eyes and saw a stunning scene.

The villain with the knife was still trying to stab her...but he seemed to be frozen.

'Wait this ability!'

The next moment the villain was thrown back at a quick speed and collided right with the upcoming villain knocking them both unconscious.

"Wow! they're flying!"

"It's Kurokai!"

Jiro and Kaminari shouted in excitement seeing the villains being thrown around.

"Kurokai-kun.....", Momo muttered in a small voice then turned her focus towards the upcoming villains.

For some reason, Kurokai didn't clear all of them at once, he only made a move just in the nick of time when they were about to be harmed.

Perhaps he was limited by his ability, anyhow they were grateful for his help.

Squall zone.

"Found you!"

"Go to hell kid!"

The two villains suddenly jumped at Koji Koda who was blankly staring at them, then suddenly the two villains paused in mid-air and their heads collided against each other knocking them out.

Shipwreck zone.

"They're about to catch up Midoriya-kun."

"I know Tsu-chan.", Midoriya gritted his teeth and prepared to sacrifice another one of his fingers to create another water tornado against the upcoming villain.

But before he could attack, the villains chasing them in water were pulled back inside the whirlpool he created.

"I-I can't move!", A villain shouted in confusion before he was pulled inside the whirlpool.

"It's Kurokai!"

"They can deal with the rest on their own.", Kurokai said as he opened his closed eyes.

All the rescue operations were taking place at the same time, so to best use his power he jumped on top of a high vantage point and started assisting in several places at the same time.

Still, there was a range limit to his ability, Hero Thirteen was transported too far away from him, so before he could do anything, Hero Thirteen was already defeated by Kurogiri.

"Is it reaching the limit?", Kurokai muttered as he wiped away the drop of blood dripping down his nose using his thumb.

The continuous long-range use of telekinesis was still somewhat difficult to handle.

"Now for the main event..."

Kurokai looked towards teacher Eraser Head who was fighting multiple villains together.

"Tsk they just keep coming.", Eraser Heaqd muttered while kicking away multiple villains at the same time.

A villain with a sword slashed down at him but for some reason, the blade changed direction and landed on the ground next to Eraser Head.

"Why?!", The villain shouted in confusion.

But the only thing that replied to him was Eraser Heads uppercut which sent him flying.

'Is it Kurokai?'

Erase Heads took a quick peek at Midoriya and Asui who were by the water, and just as he expected he saw a third figure quietly standing beside them.

'Nice assist!', Eraser Head commented in his mind and delivered a liver kick to the next opponent.

Unfortunately, his heroism was short-lived.

"Nomu."

A rough voice rang out.

Then a huge figure suddenly appeared in front of Eraser Head.

It was so fast, Eraser Head couldn't even grasp its shadow.

'Not good!', Eraser Head shouted in his mind as his danger sense roared at him about the impending danger.

But he was still too slow.

*Boom*

With a loud sound, dust, and shockwaves spread throughout the place.

"A-aizawa sensei...", Deku muttered in a daze.

The figure of nomu was too fast, his eyes only saw a large dust cloud rise up from the ground, worried about his teacher Deku clenched his fist and stared straight into the rising dust trying to see Eraser Head's figure.

As the dust subsided, Deku's eyes widened.

why?

Because teacher Aizawa was perfectly fine.

He even saw the nomu punching the ground next to Aizawa, cracking the floor.

'Did it miss?....', Deku wondered for a moment.

Anyone else in the same situation would have had the same thought.

"Damn nomu, you cant even land a punch? how will you fight All Might?...tsk I should just kill you myself...", Shigaraki scratched his neck and muttered in annoyance.

Suddenly a light bulb went on inside Deku's mind.

'No! he didn't miss!'

And it wasn't just Deku who had this idea.

With quick movement Deku, Aizawa, and Asui turned to look at Kurokai.

*Drip*

And the answer was revealed.

Kurokai who was bleeding heavily from every hole in his face.

"Kurok---"

Kurokai quickly placed a hand on crying Asui's mouth to stop her from speaking.

He didn't want the villains to pay attention to them, especially after the little stunt he just pulled off.

'Tsk I feel lightheaded.'

Several veins appeared on the side of Kurokai's face.

'It's crazy strong'.

'Aizawa sensei, you're on your own, take one for the team.', Kurokai silently recited a prayer in his mind.

In his light-headed state, he failed to notice Aizawa whose fists were clenching tightly after glancing at his side.

Thinking the nomu was a faulty product, Shigaraki was just about to command nomu again when Kurogiri suddenly appeared beside him.

"It's bad Shigaraki one of them escaped...."

After listening to Kurogiri's words, Shigaraki became even more annoyed.

Their hired villains were beaten.

A kid escaped.

The nomu seemed to be a failed product.

And dozens of elite heroes were about to arrive at any time.

"I really want to kill both of you....Kurogiri...nomu...", Shigaraki started scratching his neck even harder making blood spill out.

"Haah fine let's retreat...but first..."

With his superhuman strength, Shigaraki suddenly rushed towards the trio standing in the water.

"You----"

Eraser Head wanted to stop him but before he could react the nomu grabbed his head and easily pinned him down on the ground.

In almost an instant, the distance between Shigaraki and the trio disappeared.

Even after their little training, Deku and Asui were still kids at heart, they were completely unable to react to Shigaraki's sudden attack, a moment ago he was talking about retreating then he suddenly attacked them.

By the time they noticed, Shigaraki's hand was almost in front of Asui's face.

Why did Shigaraki chose Asui?

Because she is a girl.

He wanted the two boys beside her to despair and cry for being unable to save their precious friend.

Just imagining their expressions as their friend turned to dust made his eyes lit up in enjoyment.

'Tsu-chan!', Deku let out an unwilling roar in his mind as watched Shigaraki's hand enveloping Asui's face.

The image of Eraser Head's decayed elbow flashed in his mind, followed by Asui's decaying body.

But just then.

A hand grabbed Shigaraki's approaching arm.

Followed by a familiar calm voice.

"Don't touch my froggo."

Before Shigaraki could react, Kurokai flickered his head using his finger, sending him flying through the air.

'An unexpected error.....', Kurokai thought as he looked down at his cracking hand which was grabbed by Shigaraki.

'I coated my palm in telekinesis thinking it would separate Shigaraki's ability, it seems I was too naive, fortunately, in the end moment I didn't take a chance and allow Eraser Head to miraculously save Froggo like in the anime.'

 The flying Shigaraki gritted his teeth and shouted in anger towards Kurokai:" Nomu! Kill!"

Followed by the voice.

Kurokai only had the time to think about one word before a giant shadow appeared in front of him. 

'Fast....'

A massive fist connected.

*Boom*

Followed by a figure flying out into the distance.

"Kurokai!"

Asui cried with tears in her eyes while Deku sent a 100% punch at nomu in anger.

Another loud sound rang out as Deku's fist connected with the nomu.

Though.

It really didn't do anything, the nomu was perfectly fine.

But.

"All Might!"

It no longer mattered as the most powerful hero just arrived for rescue.
