Chapter 48 : A Rescue Which Brought More Attention

Recap: After thinking for a while system came up with 2 ways to help his friends grow stronger, But that plan was put on hold due to not knowing the location of the teachers, But thats where his second plan came in play, To gain new protection for his friends. But while he was planning this, He was unaware of the plots which is begin planned against him. System now has all the attention form all the major parties, Unknowingly he pushed himself in a power struggle, Will he understand the situation before it can happen or will he be pushed around like a doll in this power struggle. 

Many might be confused at this chapter for knowing who is who, So let me ease it for ya. I will call system sometimes Daniel, And when og Daniel will be present i will call him Little Daniel in short

System = Daniel

OG Daniel = Little Daniel

Story starts here: 

In a dark room we see a couple of figures, Sitting what seemed like a conference room, 5 people were sitting while behind each one stood 2 people, standing like a guard of some sorts. 

The room atmosphere seemed tense, But it was soon broken by a voice of male, All the attention shift on. His figure becomes visible, A short bald kid with tattoos on his head and body , wearing many golden accessories. 

"Ayee Boss man, What's the occasion for this meeting, You know time is money for people like me, So instead of using that time to play quite game, You should tell us why we are here, I have an streaming empire to run". 

hearing his voice which seemed to carry arrogance, This caused the guy wearing nomen mask to feel like that bowling ball head needs to be beaten, But before any action could be taken by him. 

Eugene speaks in a clam voice "Alexander hwang, You should have known by now, I am the type of person to not waste other people time, Unless its something important. But enough talk, You all can see the file infront of you. The file has all the information about our target. But some of you may already know who is the target i am talking about". 

only a girl wearing the fox mask extended her hand toward the file. With a male wearing a doctors coat and glasses also doing the same, after a while of page turning, No one spoke room fell into silence once again.

Seeing how the room was once again turned like someone muted a channel, Hwang felt he should also take a look at this important matter which got all the affiliates heads to meet like this. after seeing the first page with a picture and some common information about a kid named James lee/ Daniel Park. 

Hwang didn't understand, what was the fuss about this, his thought was 'Its just a kid with 2 names'. That was until he turned to second page. The image of the bodies piled up like a mountain. With many of them clearly bleeding. The image seemed to kept going. 

Hwang could not tell how many bodies were used to make such a pile. But he knew the number was outstanding, Unconsciously he turned to the next page. As an image of a mangled person came into his view. 

His back started sweating seeing the condition of the man in the image, But he did not showed his feelings on the surface. But kept his arrogant look. scanning the page he saw some more information about someone, But even with hwang mind he understood this must be the info of the mangled man.

After reading it, He understood the mangled man was a convict with many charges of assault against the girls. But as he turned pages he saw more text, About the juvie incident, How the target brutally beat 400 or more inmates. 

All the information made hwang's head spin. After reading it all hwang had 1 thought in his head. 'What the hell is going on, Is this the target information or his work history'.

But before hwang could digest the information, Eugene voice came once again. The calmness of his voice making him feel shiver. forcing him self to not show any scared or nervous emotions, Hwang looks up to see all Eugene looking at him.

That scared hwang to almost scream. But Eugene next words made him even more scared  The target is strong enough to cause us trouble, But its nothing that workers can't take care of, So I came up with plan to make the target go after Charles 4 Crews, The conflict will be easy to start as j high is in the middle of all the districts. Now the major question comes should we use west side or North side. To start our plan".

Hearing eugne words the buff guy standing behind hwang wearing a formal white suit, His eyes showed a glint which was unnoticed by the all. The scene changes form a dark room to a bright road. 

As system stood outside the gate of the school, Looking at the building. eyes of the people passing by and entering the school were all on him, His arrival to school brought the forgotten rumors to surface once again.

The arrival of Daniel park was known to whole school with in minutes. Teachers who already knew of his arrival were also shocked by the reaction of the school populace. 

random school student "Hey do you know the murderer is back".

random school student 2 "Wait you mean daniel park is back, I heard he was sent to prison because of zeus death.

random school student "No he used connections to get out of the juvie, They say he has powerful backers, which helped he get out scot free".

As before any more words could be said by the students. A member of burn knuckles stood behind them. Looking at the tall guy, Both felt fear unable to say any words. The rumors were soon stopped, When they heard burn knuckles is out for the people who are speaking ill of Daniel park. 

system stood outside the door of his class room, sighing to himself. He opened the door and entered as the teacher is yet to arrive, He went to his old seat. sitting down he heard footsteps approaching. 

Looking up he saw jinhoo walking toward him. Some how system was able to see jinhoo thoughts which were 'I must look cool approaching him like this, I am the main character, Now as i will talk with him. People will soon realize how cool i really am'. 

putting a hand system shoulder, Jinhoo spoke in a voice which he taught made him sound cool, "Welcome back daniel park, Try to not let the rumors get to you, Stay strong if you ever need help, You know where to find me". 

After saying that jinhoo felt like he was the mc, turning around leaving with his hands in his pockets, System felt jinhoo has a major illness, But he is not a doctor of head, He only knows how open on, Not how to fix it.

As time passed slowly all the class filled, With Zack, Mira , Zoe, Crystal and jay also in their seats, Teacher arrived seeing all the students and Daniel park in the class, Teacher felt stressed and guilty, He was first one to arrive at the shed, When he heard about zeus he felt it was his responsibility to help them. 

But seeing the small room covered in blood and zeus condition, He froze after that like a flash he saw daniel park begin taken away, As he stood their without saying a word, He was scared of Daniel park at that time. 

But after learning what zeus was about do to Mira, He felt it was justified, What daniel did. But when the news of zeus death surfaced, He felt daniel took it too far. But he can't question any action of daniel. He failed to help his student at the time. 

snapping out of his thoughts, He looked up to see all students looking at him, Feeling flustered for spacing out like that, He also heard some students murmer, That he might be looking at unholy things at night which caused him to act like this. 

He wanted to scream, But keeping his cool took the roll call, And started his lesson, Soon the bell rang, Signaling for lunch. All students were about to rush to cafeteria, But he stopped them, And told them "Tomorrow you will have a new classmate in the fashion department, I hope you treat him right, Now your all excused for lunch".

Hearing the teacher's words and bell, System stretches in the chair, Getting up from the chair, He heads to cafeteria, With zoe, zack, mira, jay and crystal accompanying him. with zoe begin the one to start the chat.

"Hey daniel is other daniel also gonna be joining us to study, tell me tell me". System felt a headache from her chatter. But still he answered "Yes the little daniel will join us in the class tomorrow". 

arriving near the cafe, System heard Voices of many students talking to each other, opening the door, Some students look toward the door, Expecting it to be their friend, But they look to see Daniel park. 

Everyone stopped talking. As they all stared at system, Seeing such a sudden change in the students, System sighs to himself. walking toward the counter. system ignores all the stares, Getting a basic lunch set. He goes to see an empty table to sit. 

Finding one he sat their alone, As he started eating his lunch he is soon joined by someone, Looking up to see a little fat man sitting beside him. seeing that daniel was looking at him.

The fat guy spoke hastily and in a awkward manner "Hello daniel, I didn't knew you were coming to school today, Otherwise i would have definitely visited you". 

Hearing the his words and the manner he spoke in, System smiled a little and responded "Nice to see you to duke, I hope your doing great, How's is your grandmother doing, I hope the time i was gone you didn't encountered much trouble".

Hearing his words duke replied quickly "No no, I was not troubled. And granny is doing great, She was really worried when you stopped visiting completely, She thought that it was because of her you stopped visiting, But when i told her everything, She got really mad at the authorities".

System talked with duke for a while, after some time, All the friends get together talking to each other. time passed quickly, school ended. And system headed back to home, On his way back, He heard a dog whimpering and sounds of delinquents. 

Looking over he sees a couple of guys harrasing a dog and throwing rocks at it, one of them speaks "Hey stupid dog, let me show you my jet right hand". pulling his arm back to throw rock at the dog.

Swissh, Rock was about to hit the dog, But its grabbed by system, Who now stood between the dog and the 3 guys, Seeing how his rock was stopped, He gets angry while the guys behind him laugh at him.

Looking at the guys laughing and then at the guy who stopped the rock, He gets angry and speaks "Aye you pretty bitch, Better get moving before we change our target form an animal to you". System didn't took his warning seriously. 

He responded to them in a casual manner "Just scram, The last guys also said the same thing, And let me tell you it was not a pleasant experience for them". After saying that system crushes the rock into powder, Seeing this they were scared. 

But to not look weak, he curses at system and leaves with a lame excuse. Seeing them leave, He now turns his attention back at the dog, Which was growling at him ferociously, But ignoring the dogs warning, system goes down to pet it. 

The dog doesn't back down, He bites his hand, Seeing his bitten hand. System didn't flinched from pain, But using his other hand to pat it, Trying to clam him down. System speaks in a low tone as to not scare the dog. 

"It must be hard for you, To wait for this long, Even now you are clinging to the hope that, They will come back. But as much as you hate to believe it, Deep down you know they will not be coming back, It must be really hard for you".

Hearing his voice the dog seemed to slowly losses the grip over his hand. seeing this action of the dog. System takes a good look at the dog, Seeing the a golden dog covered in filth and skinny. System spoke in a clam voice "Good Girl, Now why don't I Get you some grub and a bath while we are at it". 

Hearing the word bath caused the dog to growl once again, Seeing the reaction, System knew its gonna take a while to earn the dog trust. So After thinking for a while he came up with a brilliant idea. 

He took off his back and put it near the dog, And spoke to dog "Why don't you look after my bag, While i get your food, I will be back soon, So take care of it for me okay". The dog ignored the bag for a while, But still stood near it like he was guarding it. 

System ran to the nearest store to get some dog food, While he was gone he had some unwanted visitor looking for him. Who came in the area where they last saw him, The 3 guys who were scared away by him, They were back with some backup. 

They felt their whole family was humiliated. So they wanted revenge, Seeing the dog and the bag near it. One of them goes near the bag to check it. But as his hand was about to touch the bag, The dog started barking at him furiously.

This caused the man to get scared, Which caused him to take a couple of steps back, Which earned ridicule of the guys which were with him.

This = humiliations = angry = to kick the dog. 

which hurt the already weak dog, But the dog still persisted and tried his best to protect the bag. But unfortunately, This task was almost impossible. They got their hands on the bag emptying it on the ground. 

They found an Id card of him, Random lackey "Hyung this bastard is named Daniel park, He is in j high school, What should he do".

Huyng: "Tch tch, Well see if their's any thing else we can use to find the bastard, You all have already humiliated us enough, Now check around to see if he is somewhere near, And keep an eye on this bag, He might return to get it back".

While hyung was giving orders, The wimpher of the dog caught his attention, Seeing the dog struggling to stand, He looked at one of his lackeys and gave the order "Get rid of this bitch, Make sure, This thing stays down for good".

The guy holding a bat, Hearing the words step forward, To full fill the order. Raising the bat above his head, Thump
