Chapter 28: Are you a Raikage or a pimp?

After listening to the Tutai's proposal the office fell into silence.

His suggestion was dark.

But it was the best plan from a cold and calculating perspective.

If they wanted to kill the mizukage, they would have to send out atleast a battalion of shinobi.

And if something goes against the plan then there was a small chance they would be wiped out.

If they were paying that risk for a kage-level ninja then at least they could attack Konohagakure with a peace of mind.

But currently they were on the losing end of this deal, so it was better to just pretend it never existed in the first place.

Hachiro had suggested the deal because he knew what would happen in the future, but he couldn't tell the Raikage and Tutai, that they didn't really need to send troops over in ten years time.

If he did then he would be worried about whether he was sick in the head.

After half a minute of the depreciating silence continuing, he spoke up.

"From what I've seen so far, she is an honest and trustworthy person. If she does end up promoted as Mizukage, then, we can establish a solid trading alliance for the next few decades to come. In terms of long term profit, I think this is a good deal."

He wasn't really lying.

In the anime and real life, she had proven herself to be quite in line with the clouds style of doing things.

The Fourth Raikage and Tutai obviously didnt agree with him, for good reason.

The reasons he had given weren't all that convincing.

How can you tell if someone is trustworthy so easily?

You must have a lot of unwarranted confidence, if you believe you know a person well after a month.

"Ehm... Hachiro-sama, you're not trying court her? Are you?

Tutai asked dubiously

"What?!"

Hachiro burst out in surprise.

What the hell is wrong with you?!

Do you think I want to f*** every female I see?!

"Well, it's just I'm trying to figure out, why you're behaving so strangely ever since this deal has been mentioned. So... am I right?"

Tutai said suspiciously.

"...Go climb a mountain and slip."

His face was dark as he restrained himself from cursing.

He admitted that Terumi Mei was beautiful and he had a few thoughts earlier during their trip.

But Damn it, I am not about to compromise the clouds interests for someone I barely know.-

Do I look like someone who thinks with their lower body?

"Actually, that might be a good way to solve this."

The Raikage interjected suddenly.

"Cousin, how about you keep the woman in our village and make sure she gives you a cub or two. Then it's impossible for her to betray us, right?"

Hachiro"..."

After being speechless for a moment, he exclaimed,

"How about you retire early and become a pimp."

Previously, he had used his secretary in the bet last time, and now he was trying to use marriage to tie another women to Kumogakure.

Huh, he could become a professional in no time.

Maybe, this was your real calling in life all along.

"Hachiro-sama, the Raikage is right. If you marry and have a few children, then we want have to worry about her trying anything funny."

"... Well then, thank you for your great wisdom, you f****** geniuses."

He didn't want to linger here anymore with his bad mood.

"I'll decide how things go in my own life. Please don't intervene, in my life or Mei's."

Bang!

After the door was closed with a thud, the Raikage picked up the documents that contained basic information on Haku and Kimimaro and joked,

"Haha, it's so funny seeing that kid get angry. He hasn't even sorted out Mabui's business and now he's going to have more problems."

After, leaving the Raikage's office he felt something strange was being said about him.

He opened his perception to the maximum, intent on finding out what it was.

But after scanning the village he couldn't help but feel pretty disturbed by what the Raikage and Tutai had said.

He looked up at the highest hotel in the village before withdrawing his gaze and going home.

In the hotel room, Terumi Mei had just settled and jumped onto the bed after being led by Mabui.
