The Battle against the Prince! (Finale)

Goku and Vegeta stare at each other from 30ft away from each other while they were both in power stances in mid air.

We stood by and watched now that we were thoroughly out matched in power and prescence. But we would not be stopped as we began to sweat and see where this would go.

After a painfully long time. No words were said. Nothing prompted them to act. They simply flared up their ki to their maximum and rushed each other.

The resulting boom of clashing titans made my ears ring and Piccolos ears bleed from it.

We saw them break apart and continuously ram at each other over and over again.

The resulting booms began to destroy rock pillars all around us. On the bright side? The dragonballs can fix that. The down side? We needed to survive the backlash first.

I told Piccolo, "Grab Raditz and Chi chi! We'll need back up to help Goku finish this fight if he can't deal a deciding blow!"

He nods as he could only read my lips thanks to bleeding ears and he rushes off at full power to grab our back up.

Soon explosions happen as Vegeta and Goku begin to shoot and exchange ki blasts alongside their kicks and punches.

A few of the more painful hits sends one of them careening backwards. Only to flare their ki, catch themselves mid air, then rush back and hit their opponent back just as hard.

Soon their most famous moves come out as a kamehameha and a gallick gun clash. They keep them pretty even for a solid 30 seconds.

Soon I feel a powered up Raditz and Chi chi land behind me with a still reeling Piccolo. As we all watch in silent awe at the display.

Vegeta goes, "What now Kakarot?! We are pretty evenly matched! It will be a close call to see who will win now!"

Goku smiles widely, which Vegeta sees, and begins to sweat as Goku cheekily says, "Kaio!"

Vegeta slowly and fearfully says, "Nooooo..."

"Ken!"

"God no! Not another one!!"

"Times!"

"Tell me it's not 5!!"

"It's not!"

"Phew!"

"SEVEN!!"

"SHIT!!!!!!"

The kamehameha Goku unleashes matches his megahameha he used against Piccolo back in their tournament match. It completely vaporizes Vegetas attack and the Saiyan can't be seen for a solid minute as the attack lands.

Chi chi cheers for her husband. Piccolo smirks triumphantly. And Raditz is pumping his fists in joy.

I am calm and watching the fight as I sense Vegeta is hurt. But not out. His power has dropped hard. Its barely hovering at 22k. But knowing his pride he has something left.

Vegeta emerges from the resulting smoke. Literally smoking from many second degree burns and with armor that is so broken I swear it looks like he lost a fight against Frieza.

Vegeta pants harshly while Goku is looking slightly winded.

The Prince growls out and roars loudly before rushing in with his eyes bloodshot from desperation and rage.

His power level briefly reaches 35k from him forcing it.

Goku does another Kaio ken at times 3 to fight him off. As with his inner ape power activated he can keep any kaio ken power on for a solid minute as long as it is below times 4.

They exchange blows for a solid 45 seconds before Vegeta feels his whole body lock up in pain. Goku senses his remaining time in x3 mode and uses it to its full effect with a quick barrage of kicks and punches all imbued with ki.

Vegeta groans and cries out in pain as the damage quickly mounts from the 50 hit combo.

Gokus red ki aura puffs out before he falls to the ground kneeling and tired from holding that form.

Vegeta crashes next to him barely keeping himself at 9,000 power.

Whoops never mind he groans and spikes his power to be just over 9,000.

9,001... Whelp at least he still has some fight.

Goku rolls to his feet as he looks down at a now greatly in pain and wounded Vegeta. We all come near him to show we are ready to fight him again with all of us working together.

He pants hard but eventually lies down defeated. He groans out, "Well... Guess I lost... You have all won... Be done with it!"

I walk up and flex my hand making look like I am about to deal a finishing blow. Vegeta closes his eyes defeated.

Only to snap them open as I grasp his hand and bring him up to sitting position despite the creaking and screaming of his bones and joints.

He looks at all of us and goes, "What are you doing?"

Chi chi smirks before she, Raditz, and Goku all show their tails and say, "Well. We can't very well kill our prince can we? You still need to be here to rule the next generation. Especially to my son and daughter. And there may or may not be a plan in motion to restore our race. But only if you honor our agreement and lead us in the defense of this universe as our ally and friend."

Vegeta goes into silent shock at that as he finally remembers our deal and he smiles as he goes unconscious. Knowing he has a chance to be a king again.

I smile as we all gather him up and meet up with our friends. We make sure to clean up the bodies of the Saibamen and any remnants of Nappa and get Vegeta to capsule corp.

I grabbed the syringe while Raditz and Goku carried Vegeta between them in a double over the shoulder flying carry.

I get the syringe to Bulma and her dad telling them it was a restorative liquid that should be able to help us should we ever have a Senzu Bean shortage. She gasps in joy at the scientific possibilities and begins to work on it with her dad. We place Vegeta inside one of the many rooms of Capsule corp while we head off to the hangar to check on the progress of the Namek plan ship.

Seeing it nearly completed we all high five. I explained the model plan to Bulma with Gokus ship from the anime in mind so we can train on the way together. I tell them the plan for us going forward.

I figured only our elites should go to Namek to help them fight off Frieza.

They all nod as we decide that while she was powerful and a good ally here. Chi chi should stay with her children and help be a final line of defense for Earth should we perish.

We make sure to have only Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, myself, and Raditz be a part of the Namekian allied reinforcements.

No one liked the name. So I asked, "Fine... What about the Z fighters?"

They all nod as I fist pump and cheer internally at that.

I think over the time line and realize we only have a month or so before Frieza makes his way to Namek. So we better make the most of it.

I tell them lets go get Vegeta on board.

They nod as they all go with me to revive the prince.

He startles up after having a Senzu bean stuffed down his throat. But he calms down after realizing he is alive and is feeling even better than before. We explain the plan and what the Namekian dragonballs can do for Gokus parents. Vegeta grins and agrees to revive them to boost their groups overall combat power. And him gaining more saiyan soldiers is a nice boost to his ego.

We all grin and explain our training method to prepare to fight Frieza. Vegeta scoffs and asks what we could do to match someone who has over 1 million in power level.

I grin and ask, "Would you believe we have a method to break those limits?"

Vegeta is still skeptical as he asks, "Even if you did. We don't have the time! Frieza will be at Namek in one month! We might gain a few thousand points to our power levels with those beans you have but what then?! We wouldn't match him at all!"

I then grin widely as Goku comes up, "What if we have a way to turn one day into a year?"

Vegeta goes slack jawed and asks, "How?"

Goku chuckles before going, "Well it's called the-"

On the lookout, "Hyperbolic Time chamber." Deadpans Popo.

Vegeta, "What the fuck is that!?"

I grin as I look back at him while opening the door and saying, "Our chance to win against Frieza! Good luck!"

First Goku and Raditz head in to train hard together and to get to know each other better as well. I only hope they don't kill each other. They don't have the best people skills. But eh. Stranger things have happened in this universe down the line.
