Chapter 1: Accidental Empress

Ming Zhu, a typical college student, led an ordinary and unremarkable existence. In her life, she had various aspects that were important to her. She was intelligent and very active in school. She always make time for her studies and never failed to do them. She had a lot of goals in her life and these included her studies, where she dedicated time and effort to expand her knowledge and skills. Also, she valued her friendships, cherishing the companionship and support they provided because she knows that without her friends, she might've be less motivated every now and then. Most of all, her family held a special place in her heart, as they were a source of love, guidance, and connection.

However, a significant shift occurred at some point in time, altering the course of events.

This events that happened into her life was not ordinary, it's like a magical dream that she can never wake up again, not remembering what happened exactly from then on.

Ming Zhu, was descending the staircase that led to her dormitory room when suddenly, she lost her balance and stumbled, causing her to lose control and ultimately land on the ground. After accidentally colliding with the bannister, she experienced a forceful impact to her head, resulting in a loss of consciousness.

This was the time that a glow of light blue suddenly appeared out of nowhere and brought her into the world she never knew. The world where she had no knowledge of, and she's completely out of place the moment she discovers that she was transmigrated into another era.

Upon awakening from her slumber, she found herself in an unfamiliar and peculiar location, it's like a traditional Chinese temple where she can sense just by looking at the surrounding or place. The woman was laying down on a comfortable bed that had a beautiful canopy overhead. The room itself was decorated with extravagant furniture, creating a lavish and luxurious atmosphere. Attempting to rise, she made an effort to sit up, only to be met with a pounding ache in her head.

"Ouch, my head hurts! I cannot move properly!" she shouted.

She pondered her current location, wondering, "Where the hell am I?"

Suddenly, she saw someone in the entrance as a door swung open. It seems to be a woman in her 20's and was wearing a stunning robe made of silk, which added to her overall appearance. Her hair was neatly styled in a bun, further enhancing her elegant look.

"Wow, beautiful dress, who is she?" she murmured.

The woman who entered greeted the empress respectfully, lowering herself in a bow.

"Empress, you are awake."

"Excuse me? Empress? Who?" Ming Zhu said.She was very confused and couldn't get over what she just heard, she realizes that she was not dreaming at all, she was in a real world where she can feel, sense, and experience things she never experienced before.

"What the hell! I thought I'm dreaming!"

"Empress, I think it's not appropriate that you say those words out of nowhere. It is against the rules as an empress yourself, please do refrain from saying curse words," the servant said.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand the topic of your conversation. Could you please provide more context or clarify what you are referring to?"

The woman had a pleasant expression on her face, with her lips curving upwards in a smile. "Of course Empress, you hold the esteemed title of the Empress of Haoxing Guo. You were unconscious for days now and just now, you have awaken. I'm glad that you are doing well now."

"Who are you?" she asked.

"Can't you remember me, Empress? I am Ji Yue, your servant. I presume that you have lost your own memories due to the accident that happened to you a few days back."

"I was in an accident? How come."

Ming Zhu was taken aback, causing her eyes to widen in surprise. She wanted to remember as much as she do, but she can't do it at all. She doesn't have any memory of the empress itself, rather, she have a memory from her past life wherein she's just a college student. And she could remember the last moments was that she fell from stairs going back to her dorm.

Ming Zhu moved her head from side to side in a gesture of disagreement or disbelief.

"I am not from this world. I am just a college student and I was really shocked that I woke up into this era, and this is not my body, I promise you," Ming Zhu testified. But, the servant couldn't seem to believe her, because it was too impossible that it is going to be true.

Ming Zhu felt dizzy and disoriented, as if her head was spinning rapidly. She was unsure about what thoughts to have. After experiencing a sudden and unexpected tumble down the staircase, she found herself in a rather extraordinary situation - she had ascended to the position of Empress, ruling over a vast and prosperous empire.

"Empress, don't stress yourself too much. You are still unwell and probably have hallucinations, please rest for now for your own good," Ji Yue said, she was concerned towards the empress.

"The situation overwhelmed me with an excessive amount of information or stimuli, making it difficult for me to process and comprehend everything."

"I am not crazy or anything as you think I am, you think I'm lying?" She said, and she testified about the possibility of this situation.

"Do you remember anything else rather than that dream of yours, empress?"

Ming Zhu raised her shoulders in a gesture of uncomfortable or uncertainty. She expressed her lack of knowledge by saying, "I am not aware or familiar with the information you are seeking. However, what I am stating is indeed the truth."

Ming Zhu inhaled deeply, filling her lungs with air. In order to regain composure and gain clarity, she found it necessary to relax and make an effort to comprehend the current situation.

"Don't stress too much Empress, it's bad for your health, you've just regained your conciousness, so you must rest."

"Sure," she responded with a nod, indicating her agreement or willingness to comply with the request of the servant.
