Qiu Tong nearly blurted out the truth. But disappointment flashed across Qiu Xingyuan's eyes as he looked at her. He stubbornly pursed his lips and turned away, not saying anything else.

Holding Little Yu's hand, Qiu Xingqiao saw Qiu Tong to the door. His eyes were filled with reluctance.

Qiu Tong's eyes were gentle as she hugged the two kids and kissed their cheeks with a smile.

She looked up and saw Qiu Xingyuan standing at the door with a cold expression, as if he did not want to talk to her at all. She guessed that he might be angry, but she could not figure out what was going on in his little head.

Qiu Tong sighed helplessly and said, "Take care of your brother and sister for Mommy."

Qiu Xingyuan's little face was all scrunched up, and his shoulders were stiff as he spat out a few words, "Do I still need you to tell me that?"
