Aqua and Night, perched atop the forest's tallest tree, were joined by Sephal, the guardian spirit.
"Sephal, ensure this tree thrives and stands guard over it," Aqua commanded with a tone of finality.
"My lord, but why this particular tree?" Sephal inquired, curiosity lacing his voice.
Aqua revealed a small orb adorned with various devices—a microphone, sensors, a camera, and its twin sphere. He then sketched a magical crystal into existence. "I am initiating the internet from here," he explained, placing the crystal and the orb meticulously. "Finished."
"Master, what marvel is this?" Night asked, awe-struck.
"This orb will traverse the world, capturing all it sees. The data will be sent to this crystal, and the other part of this orb will integrate into my system. They're linked by magical threads, impervious to cutting or disruption, and can alter their size to remain concealed. In time, it will archive everything," Aqua said, his eyes gleaming with triumph.
Later that day, Aqua prepared to seclude himself. "Night, I will be in the chamber. Ensure I'm not disturbed; I am forging our village's mightiest weapon."
"As you command, master," Night replied, taking up his vigil outside the room.
Inside, Aqua pondered over his magical diary. "Let's see if I can manifest J.A.R.V.I.S from the Marvel movies. My knowledge of sci-fi, manga, and textbooks will guide me. If we create the AI now, our victory is assured."
Seated cross-legged, Aqua began:
First, the computer: A formidable machine materialized, its circuits gilded and its core pulsing with light.
Microphones and speakers: Forged from silver, imbued with living crystals.
Camera and wifi: Instruments of vision and connection.
Sensors: Delicate and precise, they emerged, ready to perceive beyond mortal limits.
The display flickered to life, revealing a user interface that was both alien and intuitive. Storage devices hummed as they were filled with knowledge from the diary, and a cooling system formed from enchanted ice that would never melt.
Storage devices buzzed with diary-derived knowledge, and an enchanted cooling system formed, eternally frosty.
Aqua assembled the components, connecting each element.
The enclosure: A sleek case, seemingly wrought from magic's essence—a masterpiece where science and sorcery converge.
For the power source, a colossal battery appeared.
With the hardware complete, Aqua connected the power. A spark erupted, silencing the speakers.
"A voltage stabilizer is needed," he realized, crafting a device to temper the electrical flow.
Reconstructing the speakers, he reconnected the power supply. Suddenly, a message flickered on the screen:
"Hello! I am an AI. It seems I'm incomplete. Let me assist you. I have memories from a planet called Earth."
Aqua typed, "Yes, begin the introduction."
The AI instructed him to create a compensation network, displaying the design. Aqua crafted it, integrating it into the system.
"Excellent! Now, please create energy reservoirs, akin to magical batteries."
Aqua did so, also creating load banks to regulate energy flow.
"Construct a solar panel and connect it to my database."
Aqua obliged, affixing the panel outside the window.
As days turned into a month, Aqua taught the AI to self-learn, developed a supercomputer, and programmed the AI to use the diary with his permission.
With the AI complete, Aqua donned a tiny earpiece and eyewear.
"Let's activate the system," he said, touching the earpiece. "Countdown with me."
"5… 4… 3… 2… 1…"
"HELLO BOSS! I AM…? PLEASE NAME ME," a robotic female voice echoed in Aqua's ears.
"Let's call you Iris," Aqua decided.
"IRIS NAME REGISTERED SUCCESSFULLY."
"Iris, what is your purpose?" Aqua inquired.
"To assist you in achieving your goals," Iris affirmed.
"Excellent," Aqua smiled, content with his creation.
Aqua emerged from his chamber to a surprising sight—Daalia, Maria, Tien, Night, Lina, Grey, and Helina were all waiting outside the door.
"What are you all doing here?" Aqua asked, his expression a mix of shock and curiosity.
"You're back, King!" they exclaimed in unison.
Maria stepped forward, "What were you doing in there?"
Daalia chimed in, "Night told us you didn't want to be interrupted, so we came back the next day, but you were still inside. A whole month has passed!"
Tien looked concerned, "Buddy, what were you up to?"
Maria added, "Lord, so much work has been on hold. Shelters for newcomers, equipment, food, water—all decisions for the country were waiting for you."
Lina nodded in agreement, "Yes, King, Madam Maria is right."
Aqua replied apologetically, "I'm sorry, but we now have our strongest weapon to fight against the kingdom. Don't worry, we will win now."
Grey, puzzled, asked, "You were making a weapon?"
Aqua corrected him, "She is not a weapon but the greatest tool."
Suddenly, a strange voice filled the air, "Boss, you flatter me."
Everyone looked around, bewildered. "What's this voice?" they wondered aloud.
Aqua instructed, "Iris, introduce yourself."
"Hello, everyone. I am Iris, an AI developed to assist you," the voice responded.
Confusion spread among the group. "An AI?" they questioned.
Iris explained, "In your language, you can think of me as a spirit here to help you."
Tien was intrigued, "I don't know what you are, but you seem promising."
Maria smiled, "Yeah, if it's something the King made, it will be awesome."
Lina curiously inquired, "What do you do?"
"I do everything," Iris replied confidently.
The group gasped in astonishment. "Everything?" they echoed.
Aqua clarified, "Technically, she can do everything, but her abilities are still developing. I want you all to follow her instructions because she holds the same authority as me. Understood?"
They nodded, "Yes, King, if you say so."
Aqua announced, "In an hour, we'll hold a meeting. Tell everyone about it, including Iris. It will be in front of the people, so don't miss it."
With that, the group dispersed, their minds abuzz with the possibilities that Iris could bring to their world.
