For about several months, Detective Lucas Han has been investigating a slew of unrelated murders that he believes have been committed by the same person. His colleagues and superiors mock him for his delusional theory. The deaths have no leads, no clues and were done with such meticulous attention that the culprit seems impossible to find. Yet Han is persistent and is determined to find his "serial hitman".
One night, he momentarily leaves his case to go out with his friends at a bar. There he meets Lou, an angelic bartender whom he accidentally bumps into. However instead of being angry she laughs it off, making fun of Lucas and teasing him for the incident. They spend the night in deep conversation and with every word she says Lucas is hooked by her. Sadly for him, a bar fight disrupts their chatter, preventing him from receiving her number.
The next day, Han is called into a murder scene, one following along the lines of his theory. This one came with a clue, a letter.
Written on it is a phone number followed by the words,
"You didn't get my number"
- Lou
