Caroline Forbes meets Klaus Mikaelson, the Hybrid for the first time when she, the Salvatore Brothers and Bonnie Bennett go to the Mikaelson house to make some arrangements for Elena's life. Caroline is overwhelmed when she drinks from the wrist for the first time. She makes her first kill and turns into an unsired Hybrid. Klaus Mikaelson both intrigued and impressed with the girl. He falls in love. Caroline's life is shattered when she gets pregnant, and all her friends refuse to help her, and Tyler abandons her. The only person there for her is Klaus.
