Unexpected Parties

I went to what Natalie has placed for a meetup. I have Anna on back-up duty for now if things goes down. I didn't wear the exosuit I made so she wouldn't be suspicious of me. Knowing that she is now different after Null's takeover.

After testing out, Inferno against her it is very comparable and is equal in strength but her techniques are still top notch. I just managed to outwit her in the long fight. Surprising since she is faster than me and I'm more sluggish than her.

"I'm surprised you would actually come here to see me Vaughn." Said Natalie who just arrived a bit later than me.

"Never expected you to be late too." As I pop out a cigarette to smoke.

"It was just 1 minute. Anyways here's your Vulcan, let's get to our discussion." Said Natalie.

"Sure, what do you need from me?"

"I need you to give me details about Dealer and the Ripper group." Said Natalie.

"Is that all of it what you want?"

"What, do you have something that has already everything in it?" Said Natalie

"Actually, yes. I do have it, here in this folder contains what you need. Sadly I couldn't get any personal info though."

"The hell is with all of this detailed info!?" Said Natalie.

"What, do you think I would just stand here and let my Arms Industry shares just disappear? It's my business and I'm keeping it on top."

"That is expected of you. But anyways is this all what you have right now?" Said Natalie.

"Yes, at the moment this is the only thing I could found try not to leak it out to the information industry ok? It's hard for me to find this kind of info without physical persuasion."

"I guess this proves it then. I'll keep your students out of harms way then, don't worry anything about it. Also.. There was a replacement teacher for your class too. But I didn't find anything suspicious about him. Not right now at least." Said Natalie.

"That's good I guess, anyways do you have anymore business with me?"

"I guess that was pretty much it as of now, but I have a question again for you Vaughn... Why do you know and understand Null and the Black Forest Company I thought they erased your memories or something similar about that." Said Natalie.

I puffed a bit of smoke as I replied. "I mean I already told you that I was the sole survivor of that Child Soldier factory of Black Forest. And that it was a gruesome place to begin with, somewhere in the Bavarian black forests. Nowhere to run, no food, or water. You survive by killing another classmate of yours to prove your worth. Plus we get their share of the food if we win.

So most of us are powered by greed and envy. We were a lot of kids, over 200 students if I recall. All around the same age, 5-7 years old to be exact I was just 6 during that time and a few months in I racked up 10 kills already. Other than that life there was pretty simple, you keep training on how to kill people, 18 hours of training everyday."

"Sounds like you really did live to tell the tale of that experience. But what makes you different from them though?" Said Natalie.

"Why I didn't become insane just like the rest of us? Well one thing is I was given special conditioning to be a kid with actual knowledge. I was one of the first educated child soldiers that was trying to use intelligence as a weapon of mass destruction. The results and research did show I was more deadly than the other kids.

A difference of 30-40% success rates if I conduct the missions myself. And they would inject me with happiness that kept me killing a lot of people each day, each successful mission and knowing Rayleigh Academy is known to be one of the schools with the highest number of smart kids per class.

They would make soldiers similar to me at this pace plus the improvements with VR tech making their efficiency rise by 60% against me. Do you wanna see more my copies?"

"I don't have anything else but just be surprised on how much you've gone through... Knowing that I was one of the lucky ones being raised in a proper dojo." Said Natalie.

"By the way Natalie, that was just the glimpse on my time at Black Forest. There are things I cannot disclose you on what I've experienced there not right now. I still have things to settle first before I could tell everyone."

"Anyways if that's the case I'll be heading out now. I'll be expecting more info about the two see you soon." Said Natalie as she leaves the place.

I finished smoking by the time she left. I got myself a small reunion with Vulcan and a bit more I could persuade Natalie to leave the Organization.

"Seems like you're enjoying yourself being brought back together with your favorite sword." Said Anna as she arrives from her post.

"I do hope that message will bring Natalie into her senses. So do you have any leads on where Maestro is? We need his strength on this next part."

"I'm looking for it at the moment I might find a lead in a few hours so give me a few more time to confirm his location." Said Anna.

"I understand Anna, a secured confirmed location is better than a quick and vague result that might risk our safety in the long run."

"For now I'll keep on searching for Maestro's location." Said Anna as she leaves the place.

The pace of our plans is going smooth and quick now but how long will we keep up with this pace. I know the saying if things are going too well something is up. Now with Natalie being in our mercy for information that might mislead her into thinking she's fighting a legit enemy is a surprised how she was deceived I guess the training is still in effect for me. I'll have to sit this one through for the meantime.

Vaughn and Natalie collaborated to collect info on Vaughn's false persona for his plan to move along surprising despite that Natalie is known to spot liars pretty easily and Vaughn hasn't made any mistakes yet how long will this keep up.
