Interlude: Vesta

I wake up to a brand new day. Thanking mom and dad for bringing me to this world. It was a habit of mom that rubbed off on me. Mama Aponia as well and my sister Celeste.

"Thank you for a brand new day." It was kinda weird that I was thanking my parents, more specifically dad. But he is a true deity that has no shackles and limitations. What you call a true God, unlike those pansies that needed worship or concepts to be strong.

I then sit up and see my best sister, Aurum. She is sweet, artistic, and elegant. Just like her mother, mama Eden. Maybe it's because mom and mama Eden are besties. But we were the closest, along with Celeste and Musubi.

"Good morning Aurum, we definitely got tons of profit with what Evilus tried to pull." I greeted and made small talk.

"Umu, I've actually prepared a concert for the people of Orario. Boost up their moods after what Evilus did to them for years." Aurum replied with a hum.

I smiled in return, Aurum was a really sweet and kind girl. She likes doing concerts for free just like how mama Eden did back in the day according to mom's stories.

"I think they'll love it. Your voice is only second to mama Eden after all~" I teased her and Aurum snorted.

"Of course, mom and dad are the best at music after all. I still have a long way to go before I can match them." Aurum replied with pride and we went to the dining hall to have breakfast.

"Hey, kids. Good morning. Nice work by the way, you now have complete control of Orario. Political, physical, and economical." Dad complimented us and everyone was happy of course.

"Huhun~ Dad, you saw what I did with the city? Evilus didn't have a chance, think mom would be proud of it?" Laplace was proud as she was the MVP of how they gained political power and dealt with Evilus quite easily. It would be different if they just fought like the adventurers in the city.

"Well, mom would be proud. You've turned Orario into your personal fortress after all. It's now your playground and you can assassinate anyone with a button." Dad patted her head and Anahaat got quite jealous.

"Hmph, with my bio engineered produce along with Demeter-san's help. We now control the economy of Orario, your little fortress will have little use in the coming years." Anahaat gave a smug retort and Laplace raised a brow. You could see the lightning that clashed in their sights as the two glared at each other.

"Now, now children. If you don't behave while we're on the dining table, then you won't get any of dad's full English breakfast~" Mom squashed their little pissing contest, making us giggle at their antics.

"That's right! If you want to compete, then settle it with a death match!" Mama Hua shouted out as she ate with gusto. She had too much energy like always.

"That's right, don't be rude you two. Chichi-ue has prepared this bountiful breakfast and you squander it with your petty squabbles." Akira commented and the two flinched. They then grumbled and began eating their breakfast.

"Now, what do we do exactly?" Haku tilted her head and I swear I could just hug her all day. "We aren't the strongest adventurers here in Orario if we don't add technology or our transformations, how about we go on an expedition?" I recommended and they all nodded after a bit of thinking.

"Hmm, how about we register our familia as something different from an exploration one? We aren't exactly exploring the place you know?" Alfia-nee suggested and her sister Meteria nodded with excitement.

"Oh! I've heard about how you girls dive in the dungeon. Hmmm, how about a raid type familia? Rolls of the tongue quite nicely right?" Meteria-nee excitedly gave her thoughts.

"Why raid type though?" Musubi asked after swallowing her food. "Huhun, it's because you girls plunder everything that you come across. Pillaging the loot and killing everything in sight. You track down monsters and kill them just for Excelia. You're basically population control." Meteria-nee answered quite eloquently.

"That's right, we don't really need money. Demeter-san and her familia got us covered with that." Celeste looked at the honey haired goddess currently enjoying her food.

"Ahhh~ Ein. Your food is just the best! My decision to join in this partnership is the most correct choice I've ever made~" Demeter-san hummed and bobbed her head left and right as she joyfully ate.

"Thank you for the compliments Demeter. Now, that's a great idea kids. How about we register our familia with this new classification and you go in and raid the dungeon. Bring the new recruits and Meteria with you too so they could level up?" Dad smiled at us and we now knew what to do today.

"Come on girls, let's get to the dungeon. And don't use your usual weapons. They're too overpowered." Shenlong reminded us and we agreed.

"Alright! Come on, we don't have all day!" Alexis excitedly beckoned us to go faster. I rolled my eyes at her, she was too enthusiastic. "Calm down, Alexis. If we are weak and didn't have back up, we would be dead because of you." I chided her and Alexis was shocked, she then thought of it for a minute and nodded.

"That's right, we need to be a team!" Argento shouted out and Arcene high fived with her. "Bring the new members too don't forget them. They'll be a fine force to do our bidding." Anahaat smirked and had that villain aura on her as always.

"Shush, you don't get to do the talking Anahaat. You'll scare the kids away." Musubi bonked her lightly on the head and Anahaat just shrugged.

"Race ya!" Bellatrix decided to forgo her weapon and would just use her limbs. I gave a wry smile at their antics.

Izumi, Akira, and Haku took some wakizashis and katanas. "Let's get it on then, might makes right after all." Izumi chuckled and the sword trio quickly followed the Kaslanas.

"Ara~ they're so eager." Mama Kallen smiled at their enthusiasm. Mama Kiana and Bianka also nodded with a small smile.

"Don't forget the loot Tora! Time is money. And time wasted not making money is unproductive nya!" Mama Phyllis shouted out to Tora who was ready to steal, ahem. Borrow everything not bolted to the floor.

"Of course nya! Who do you think you're talking to nya? I'm gonna make so much valis, we'll be swimming in it!" Tora replied with a loose smile as she probably remembered dad's picture back at Teyvat where he has a chair made out of mora.

I sigh at my sisters' eccentric behaviors. But it was gonna be quite a fun day ahead again.
