Life and Death Situation

The blow didn't damage Uesugi as he steadily walked out of the debris. Staring at his opponent grimly, he knew it would be a difficult fight.

His opponent seemed shocked by the lack of damage as he stayed in his position while Bronya went to Uesugi to support him.

"Do you think we deal him". It was the first time she saw him lose in a contest of strength, even against the chakram he lost from his technique and experience

"We'd have to test that out first". Without her replying, he shot forth

Since he lacked in many factors, Uesugi decided to risk it and unleash his newly made trump card against this enemy

Yin-Yang: Penetrating Fist

After a short talk with Bronya about naming it, this was their consensus and Uesugi was satisfied with it.

Uesugi's enlightenment during the Chakram user battle laid the foundation for his martial arts. The Penetrating Fist is a result of 'Yang' power emitted from his talent [Lightning's Child] and brute strength while the 'Yin' force came from his mental energy and [Focus]

When he struck the leader, the damage wasn't openly shown and as its name suggests, it penetrated her internal organs and impacted with a weak current of electricity from his talent

The robed enemy twitched as he sensed a foreboding danger. He merely responded by lifting his palm towards Uesugi, like an ant stopping the chariot

Uesugi Shuu didn't think about it as his speed was an instant. Wrapped in lightning, his fist landed on the opponent's palm.

*Poof*

A soft feeling wrapped Uesugi's fist, incredulity covered his face as he felt a sensation like cotton. The impact was dispersed and his opponent seemed nonchalant about his all-out attack

Dread seeped out of his soul and he immediately tried to retreat. However, the robed foe's palm clasped on his fist, not letting go as Uesugi struggled to escape from his predicament

"Let go of him!" A cute cry rang as rays shot towards the robed figure. The bullets homed in and evaded Uesugi as it pierced the foe's body

Coughing out blood, the enemy kneeled and his hood opened and revealed his face. Uesugi and Bronya were surprised by his actions of not dodging but they were more shocked about his appearance

'Monster' was what could describe him. A disfigured face with short hair similar to Picasso where his nose was on his eyes and mouth on his cheek.

Disgusted by his appearance, Bronya closed her eyes and turned her head away while Uesugi struggled not to vomit

Angered by their reactions, the disfigured foe roared like a Honkai Beast and his body began popping and expanding until he became a 3m beast

He curled up and started to roll at tremendous speed, creating sparks on the ground. When the rotation reached its maximum, it spun towards the Uesugi pair like a meteorite

They were distracted and responded late, the enemy's speed was slicing through the air and was about to reach them

Instinctively, Uesugi unleashed Weapon Creation to form a platform slanting upwards while Bronya's Project Bunny 19C charged up with Honkai Energy

The meteorite shot into the skies like a pinball and landed miles away from their location

*Boom*

A mini nuclear explosion rose, devastating the debris into particles as the wind blew so fiercely that Uesugi struggled to maintain his ground

Bronya was levitating so her body swayed easily and she needed Uesugi's help so she wouldn't fly away

The wind drift lasted for a minute before it settled. A black smoke can still be seen with a person walking out of it unscathed

Horror appeared on their faces as they realized, this enemy surpassed their previous foes.

Gulping at this scene, only thoughts of retreat remained. They were fortunate to redirect the attack using physics, otherwise... Not even a trace would be left of them

The disfigured face smiled ruthlessly as he attempted to use the move again.

Uesugi didn't underestimate him. He didn't know if he could change directions but wouldn't risk it.

Looking at Bronya, he nodded and she knew it was time to flee. While it is a pity that Uesugi couldn't complete his mission, life comes first

When their enemy saw their movements, an enraged aura appeared around him, 'how dare you laugh and flee'. His face twisted further and if the pair were to turn around, Bronya would have fainted from disgust

Injected by a fuel called anger, the disfigured man's Honkai Energy charged instantly as he used the same move as before. Sensing the incoming danger, Uesugi took flight with Bronya in his arms

Bronya shot her charged shots into the ground to create craters while Uesugi used Weapon Creation to create upside down slopes so the round ball would circle around

However, as if sensing their movements, the rotating ball seemed to have received a jet booster and accelerated right before it went up the slope. This boost came from an angle as the ball was pushed diagonally towards the pair and pierced through the slope

Severity appeared on Uesugi's face, pushing away Bronya, he crossed his arms and converged his Honkai Energy to protect his vital points.

*Bang*

Uesugi's figure was sent flying like a pin receiving a bowling ball. His arms bent, unable to contain the force as his body flew to the ground

"Shuu!" Bronya screamed as she controlled Project Bunny 19C to catch him. However, the fall's force was too great and even though it tried to weaken the impact, Uesugi showed no signs of slowing down

Crashing straight into the ground, a large smoke rose and a small hole was formed. Uesugi was coughing blood as his vision started to blur. This was his first time suffering such an injury, the disfigured foe was not the strongest, but his blows were

Arriving by his side, Bronya stared warily at the disfigured man who was approaching them slowly

Raising his head with arrogance, the disfigured man said, "You're lucky alright, I've been told to bring you both back alive so be glad you still have some use". Spitting on the ground, he was dissatisfied with the orders

However, Bronya could tell he was bluffing. Not his words, but his state. While no AI or technology was assisting her, her experience told her that he was tired as well

'His attacks are intimidating but from what we've seen, his defenses are not as great, he also needed time to charge up his move'. Forming an analysis, she turned towards Uesugi and knew it was pointless

While his Honkai Energy reserves were still at 70%, his body was too battered. She judged that he needed a few days of rest for complete recovery

Gritting her teeth, Bronya decided this would be her last stand when a hand held her back. Breathing heavily, Uesugi palely said, "I have one last alternative, but you have to hold him back for a few minutes". Conviction shined in his eyes, causing Bronya's tense state to relax

Bronya was unsure about his last measure but seeing the miracles he's made these past few days, she trusted him fully for serious matters.

Nodding slightly, she readied Project Bunny 19C and activated a barrier from a function on her Battlesuit.

Seeing that the two brats didn't surrender peacefully. The disfigured man was infuriated as his rationality disappeared causing his eyes to go white

Letting out another roar, he began to roll on the spot and charged his momentum with Honkai Energy. After seeing this move twice, Bronya knew the way to stop him

"Fire!", Project Bunny 19C aimed at the surface below the rolling ball, destroying the ground which caused the foe to fluster as it returned to its normal state

Surprised by its effect, the disfigured man glared daggers at Bronya and charged with ferocity. While he couldn't unleash his killing move, looking at Bronya he knew that she was just a weak persimmon for taking

Bronya was flying 20m above the ground but she didn't relax her guard. While the foe looked vicious, he was a muscle brain. However, even muscles can beat brains with enough brawn

The disfigured man realized he could reach her height by jumping but couldn't maneuver in the skies. He didn't have a battlesuit to aid in combat so he started looking around for options

Eureka appeared on him as he laughed at the moment victory, running towards the debris under a rain of bullets. He dodged the fatal shots at the expense of scratches

Reaching out towards a slab of a block, using one hand, his muscles pumped as he threw the block at Bronya. The object resembled a ray of light and was about to pierce her

Moving sideways, her shield deflected the slab away from her. Bronya sweated at the speed as she realized that if it was her shoulder, it would have blown it to bits. Then, she smiled.

'It's just another hardcore game, don't get hit once and stall for time to complete the mission'. Bronya's gamer mindset overtook her as competitiveness rose from her mind. A few more flying slabs arrived before her as she used her instincts and calculations to deflect, repel, and dodge the attacks

The battle scene was like a dodgeball match, the disfigured man was launching small slabs towards Bronya while she evaded with difficulty. If the blocks were replaced with a ball, then it would be dodgeball

At this moment, the only person who could watch this scene was lying flat on the ground motionless. Uesugi called out the system and said
