Needing Answers

Below the imperial palace the musty air of the secret basement caused Pho to sneer in disgust. If only the honey trees he took from this place could supply everyone, he wouldn't need to have his men down here digging for more.

Now with news of those same trees dying, Pho is desperate enough to come down here himself to look for answers to this problem.

His second in command spotted him at the entryway. "Sir, we are almost to the inner chambers, but there are massive boulders that we need to chip away at before we can get inside." 

Pho looked at the block area and really wanted to kick his past self, Why was I so eager to destroy this place…

"Continue, but if there is a faster way do it." He needed to get back in there.

"Yes, sir."

Pho left the tunnels disappointed and anxious. Things were going so well for him, he wouldn't allow it to stop here because of some dying trees.
