Chapter 30
Hailey Spence thrust a report at her, saying, "Read it yourself."
Chloe Collins took it, lowered her head and began to read slowly.
After twenty-five seconds, she looked up and reached out to Hailey, "Give me the agreement."
Seeing her compromise, Hailey's smile morphed into something different, "It's good that you came around. Don't worry, my research will not disappoint you. Together, we'll make a name for ourselves."
As she said this, the agreement had already reached Chloe's hands.
With a click, she took off the pen cap and placed the pen on the signature section.
She looked up at Hailey and smiled lightly, "We have different paths, we aren't allies."
Hailey was puzzled, but she saw Chloe starting to sign.
The moment the pen touched the paper, the room instantly darkened!
Hailey and others were taken aback, suddenly hearing a string of thumping sound.
A woman's voice brushed past their ears, whispering, "Thank you."
