Chapter 15:The death threats

"So, Doc how's the baby?" I asked because Snow, still is not in her right mind.

"The baby is healthy. Miss Snow should eat healthy food and avoid eating oily and cold foods." I nodded taking note of everything she said.

When I was pregnant I'm out of my mind.. I really didn't take care of myself so I really don't know much about what pregnant woman should eat and not. Should do and not do.

"Well, wow! My dear friends, why do you keep producing babies?! You, Seg, Jen and now Snow?!

" Jen is pregnant? Oh.. I haven't heard from her since last 2 months! That girl is so busy..

"Jen? Who is the father?" I asked Rain. We are all successful now, but we all failed in the aspect of love. It is really true that those who are successful in career can't be successful towards love.

"Guess it." Oh? Is it that jerk?!

"What a fortune we have." I said and laugh. She chuckled and recommend a medicines, it's for free. A promise from our senior high days.

I left them and went to the pharmacy to get the medicines.

"Hi. This is.." She nodded and immediately understand. Rain called them before I went here.

As I was waiting for the medicine I look around and saw someone familiar. "Jen!" She looked at me and she look shock when she found out I'm the one who called her.

She nodded and smiled awkwardly before she run fast! I was about to run after her when the girl who went to get the medicine came. "Here, miss."

"Is there a woman came here to buy a medicine for a pregnant woman too?" She's hesitating that's why I continued.

"Ahm.. it was also a friend of Doctor Rain?" She nodded slowly so I smiled and get the medicine.

I ran after her but I only saw her car drive pass through me. She's avoiding me, I'm not sure this past few months because she said she's busy but now that we saw each other..she obviously avoiding me.

Why? I've texted her, I inform her what's happening to me so she won't feel left out..does she still think it's her fault?

No one blamed her..only me.

But we already cleared things, we're ok. We decided to move on and move forward, she won't like it if we keep on clashing..

"I saw, Jen. But she ran away." I shrugged and sit at her sofa.

"Oh?" Rain said and chuckled. I sighed, I really have a weird friends.

I look at Snow, who's still looking at the wall. She really is still shock. I remember myself years ago when I was pregnant. I'm like that..

I'm afraid if this continued she might lost the baby.

Even if she won't say anything I know that he is the father! Those infinite jerks! They've got the guts to get us pregnant after hurting us!

"YOU should tell me the truth or I'll never let you see her again." He sighed and shook his head, like he's so helpless. He also have some dark circles under his eyes and he also growing some beard. He looks hot with it but in my eyes, he looks so stressed.

"Even if you let me see her Erica, she won't let me." My brows furrowed. What did this jerk do, again?!

"Why? Did you hurt her again, Ken?!" He slowly nodded.

"I said some harsh words..I swear, I didn't mean too. I was jealous! So I got drunk, and Ziv advice me that I should talk to her but when I went to her condo I saw them hugging!" He said frustrated, he messed up his hair and put his hand on his head and massage it.

I sighed. A misunderstanding again..

He looks pitiful to the point that I almost want to tell him that Snow is pregnant with him!

"How about you, John?" He shrugged.

"I've got nothing to say."

"Well, I have. It's about Jen.." After hearing her name, he fixed the way he sit and look interested.

"Do you have any news about her?" He nodded.

"Are you dating or something?"

"I hope we do. But your friend is hard as rock! After what happened to us that night, she drove me away like I'm some kind of virus!" Great.. must be the reason why she'd avoiding me. She probably think I would get mad at her.

I sighed. "You infinite jerks are good at messing up with our lives."

"Oh? Our? So Cap still have an effect on you?" Ken asked almost laughing.

We call Ziv, Cap during our high school days.

"Not that kind of effect though."

"What I mean is... he is like a tornado who messed up a beautiful and a peaceful town!"

They laughed at what I said but they didn't correct me, though.

After that serious talk, we talk about random things but we tried to avoid talking about the past.

We also avoid talking about serious matters, we talked about how our life was, catching up and such a normal conversation.

"MOM! Which one is the gift of DaddyPapa Ken?"

"How about Daddy papa John?" I gave them the boxes of cakes and chocolates. They smiled happily and hug me.

I let go and face them."Kids, you stay with lola this coming week, ok? Mom would be busy and mom's work would be dangerous again...is it ok?" They nodded understandably and smiled sweetly.

"Mom is busy because she want to give us a comfortable life!"

"Yes Mom! Be busy and make money. But don't stressed yourself out ok? Your health is our number one priority." I hugged them again.

I'm so lucky to have them. But how unlucky of them to have a mother like me, depriving them from having a father.

"MOM? Ahm, I'll be busy this week.." She cut me off. "Yes! Yes! Yes! The kids are very welcome here! Bring them here already." I chuckled. She's so energetic.

"Not yet, Mom. I'll find a time or much better if you come here. But bring your body guards ok?"

"No!"

"Mom, do you want dad to get mad at us and won't let you go out to buy dresses from Paris?" She stayed quiet for a while.

"Fine!" I sighed. She still acts like a kid! I wonder how dad handle mom this long... If I were Dad, I probably die from stressed!

"Erica, I can feel your eyes is rolling at me." I chuckled. That's...

"Ok, Mom. I'll cook for the kids, ok? They'll wake up any minute now."

"Ok, ok, I'll come before lunch."

Today is Sunday, supposedly we should be at the amusement park or mall today but because of Mr. Salazar's case we can't. I just receive a death threats telling me to back out and leave Mr. Salazar alone.

It only made me want to fight more. Because it's only mean one thing, he's innocent. I just can't let him get imprisoned because of something he didn't do! Something injustice!

But I can't also risk the life of my family especially my kids, they would be a lot safer if they'd stay with my parents. They are rich, so they've got a lot of body guards to protect them.

No one would dare to touch a Lopez, but no one can also stop someone who's desperate and cold hearted.

I reached out my phone after thinking for a long time.

I dialed his number but to my shock, he answered instantly! I cleared my throat. "Ziv, I'm allowing you to meet our kids! Don't disappoint them."
