I had offered to wash the dishes after we made dinner for ourselves so Benedito could get ready for bed. In reality I was busy setting up a picnic snack for us and mason jars for another fun activity I had planned for him and I. 

Even though our first day of our romantic getaway had been a bit rocky I had faith I could turn things around. That was how I had taken the saddle Ma and Clyde had bought for us, put it on Neto because I had faith he could handle the weight better. Not that I doubted Lettie but she was a lot smaller than Benedito's large stallion. 

During this time of the year at one of the lakes on the ranch fireflies would appear for at least an hour or two if you were lucky. This time I really prayed they appeared because I wanted Benedito to experience that.
