After quickly taking care of all the knight's stuff and making sure to immediately eat his brain for that sweet knowledge, even if knowing how to get a monster to grow inside of you wasn't something Vlasfimia would use personally some people would always pay for the info, any info could be sold really, you just needed to find who would want it.
After that, he exited the dungeon and headed to the main building of Infamy, he had gotten the word that Duaparc had a job for him, it wasn't common for her to get any job for anyone, so it must be something interesting.
He entered through the door, pushing it harder than usual since someone was in the way, indeed, the drunkards were now back and the circulation had come back to what it usually was, absolutely horrible but Vlas was used to it and made his to Duaparc's office, masterfully overcoming the many obstacles on the way.
He entered the office and checked his pocket watch.
"Ah, right on time, as always" he said to himself.
"So, what's the job you wanted to talk to me about?" he spoke as he looked at her sitting at desk, as she always was.
"Actually, I have two things to talk to you about" she corrected, looking a bit too happy, something was off, this was a trap, Vlas could feel it.
"And what are they?" he asked once more, squinting his eye with pure suspicion.
"The first one is simply a demand to increase your monster training things you've got going on, the demand for all kinds of monsters is increasing recently but mostly for combat oriented ones" she first said, nothing weird with this one.
"Ok, that should be easy enough" answered Vlas.
"And as for the second one, well, you see, all the clan leaders are going to have a little meeting to talk about whatever but mostly the world dungeon and-" she started explaining but once Vlas saw where it was going, he immediately cut her off.
"Absolutely not" he said.
"I'm not even done!" she cried out, doing a gesture with her hands as if trying to appease a wild monster.
"Nope, I know what you are going to ask and I will not participate in this kind of thing" Vlasfimia made his opinion known clearly.
"Come on, it's just one! I'll pay you even and also I'm sure you will be interested in something" she said, getting up from her seat and walking up to Vlas.
"Listen, I can get you some good stuff, just ask for something and I'll get it" she offered, quite a bold thing to say to Vlas.
"What is that thing you're sure I'll be interested in?" he asked, that part was intriguing.
"I know pretty well Vlasfounet, listen here" she said before whispering something in his ear, a unusual expression appeared on Vlasfimia's unseen face as he heard what she said, indeed that was interesting.
"Okay, very well, I'll accompany you to it" he said.
"By the way, what I want is as many scrolls or anything that can grant skills or even affinities as you can find, it doesn't matter whether they are shit or not, I only want one of each that you can get your hands on" he stated his demand immediately after.
"And don't forget the pay also" he added on, making Duaparc visibly and audibly cringe, this little want of hers was going to be costly.
"Alright, the meeting will happen in a month from now, make sure to show up here at the date" she said, one would probably think that it was weird to not go ahead of the time since it would definitely not happen in this shitty city but Vlas had no such questionments and instead ask her about something else.
"About the monsters, are there specific ones that are more wanted than others? Or perhaps specific kind of abilities they want on their monsters?" asked Vlas.
"No, don't worry about that, they'll buy anything, a war is breaking out on a nearby island, both sides needs some expendable manpower" she responded with a frightful smile, Vlas nodded and left the office.
Vlasfimia knew that the clan leaders's meeting were akin to party at least a portion of it and he hated parties, the only one he was okay with were the ones were people got drunk in approximatively thirty minutes and made no sense.
But if what Duaparc said was true and it most definitely was, some good info could be gained from all of this.
'I'll need to take care of the boss on the fifth floor' he thought as he walked, indeed when Vlas had went to some lower floors than the first five, he had been by bypassing the boss supposed to be guarding the entrance, he did so by using the magical and miraculous art known as digging, the dungeon wasn't very keen on this as it always blocked the passages he made but since the way he used was made of hollow spaces separated by thin walls, it was fairly easy to go back and forth.
He hadn't cleared the boss because the floor five boss had a particularity which was having a billboard of the people who defeated him before his boss room and by not having his name in it, Vlas could trick people into thinking he had never ventured deeper than the fifth floor, this allowed idiots such as the consumed knight from before to think he wasn't that strong and giving Vlas free stuff but it seemed like it was time to finally do it.
Unlike any other bosses, the boss that guard floor entrances have much more available information as such Vlas knew exactly what it was, an undead summoner, some would call him a necromancer but he was said to spawn his undead minions from portals just like certain summoners did.
The boss himself was no challenge, as he had no offensive attacks, only his minions and some buff spells for them, the only thing to be wary off was that since Vlas would fight him alone, the boss would most likely be stronger, being the first 'mandatory' boss that needed to be defeated most people did it very quickly with a party and the few that did it alone were only of passage, so Vlas had no info on that, the info should sold pretty nice to the guild though.
This kind of bosses are not the kind to drop stuff when killed, the reward is getting the right to get through but maybe by doing it alone something would be given but Vlas already had an idea what it would be.
As he was nearing the dungeon, Vlas turned around as he felt like something was happening and indeed it was pretty important.
'Shit' he simply thought as he went back on walking to the dungeon as if he had seen nothing.
