Skai took a deep breath, her fingers hovering over the keyboard as she struggled to find the right words. 

She knew she couldn't tell Kiera everything, not over text, but she also didn't want to worry her friend unnecessarily.

Skai: There's no need to. 

Skai finally typed, her thumbs flying across the screen. 

Skai: Just book a moving company, fill out the necessary forms, and make payments. I'll settle them with you when we see and also fill you in, promise.

With a sense of relief, Skai hit send, her phone buzzing with Kiera's immediate response. 

Kiera: Okay, I'll take care of it. But you better tell me everything when I see you or else…

Skai couldn't help but smile at Kiera's support.
