Wrong transfer.

With November's first impression already made in the hallways on her first time here, definitely, she was sure that soon or later, the news would circulate..

Therefore, right now and inside one of the female dorms of this school, stood November. Whereas, slipped out of her clothes that'd now dried a bit that pooled round her feet, leaving her naked.

She tied her hair into a messy bun before making her way inside the bathroom that was open even before she'd collected her keys from the female warden of the girls' dorm.

And yes, November couldn't forget the way she'd stared at her as if in doubt before pulling out a couple of keys that were in bunches and set them on her table to give her her own according to her room's number.

And before she'd opened the dorm with the number '103,' it'd taken her quite a minute to process because of her eyes, and even after she'd taken off her smudged glasses, the numbers blurred further that you could only see the metal and not the numbers imprinted on it..

Once stepping in, the first two things that her eyes were quick to fall on, were her luggages.. then, the study table situated at one corner of the room that was well furnished. Atop was her study lantern..

The room was very simple and she liked it that way, accompanied by the floral scent that she hadn't missed to inhale.

The bed? It was already dressed and made proper and November's body ached to lie down onto it but first, she needed to shower..

After the girl had bathed, she stepped out to slip into her night clothes afterwards , she fell on the bed to sleep...

Deep in the girl's dream, she saw herself plunging into darkness that seemed like forever before landing onto the ground beneath her with a thud.

A thud that'd caused November to jolt at the impact still, without her coming back to consciousness.

Looking around her, she noticed that she was in a forest where the trees towered over her. These tress were lifeless and surprisingly, still sprouted leaves. Craning her neck to the other side with her heart, beating louder than a caveman's drum. Her eyes went wide on seeing the shadow that stood at the other side of the forest..

It wore this ragged dress and stood barefooted and looked like it'd just dug its way out of its grave..

However, it glared at the girl who was with her, who then, stood up and began to run towards the other side of the dark forest. Meanwhile on the run, November felt the ground throb like it'd suddenly turned to plastic rubber before vines sprouted out of it and wrapped its way round her leg which had prompted her to fall face flat in the mud.

Lifting her head, the shadow was now standing right infront of her with a few inches away. November's heart drummed louder than the wind that whipped past her ears and a little groan flew from her mouth when the vines continued to pin her down, wrap after wrap, whilst tightening its grip and pulling her along as it began to sink back inside the soil.

November yelped and sat up right with sweat to trickle down her spine.

The girl sat down there for some minutes before it then dawned in her that it was already morning and that the rain had stopped but still, carried this coaxing morning cool breeze through her window-

Her window!!??

November had made sure that both of her windows were closed before she'd slept, so how come were both of them wide open now? Or was it that she didn't get to lock them well?

She pondered shortly before she then got down to lock them back.

Things couldn't get any stranger...

She mumbled inwardly.

.....

After November had gone for today's classes, she, alone, sat on one of the chairs of the lunchroom to eat. And yes, most the students were now staring at her, causing her grip over her spoon, to tighten.

" Heard you made quite an impression," came a masculine voice from her side before the person had come to seat in front of her with his own tray if food while grinning

.

He said, " Trust me, that was awesome." The girl whom he sat with, stared hard at him," Well, for a freshman?" He said like he wasn't very sure..

" Tristan Howard,"he introduced," Probably in my final years here."

Seeing that the girl whom he was talking to wouldn't respond, he cleared his throat.

Meanwhile, November scanned him. He had brown hair that was cut neatly and brown eyes, that matched the color of his hair. He was also , dressed cooperate and seemed like he tried his best not to get any hint of dirt on him like he was on a competition for the neatest student in this university..

Unlike some of the boys whom she'd seen today, Tristan was one of them that didn't have any tattoos or piercings and had a friendly smile on his face.

Seems like someone was trying to keep a clean record here. She thought and finally, spoke,"November Grant." She smiled,"Junior year."

" Wow," he exclaimed and stretched out his hand for a handsake," It's nice meeting you,"

" Same." the girl replied and took his hand as it was wrong leaving it midair.

Tristan, was the second person to approach her today and somewhere, she was glad that her eyes for a moment, didn't freak them out

.

Then, the boy continued," if you have any problems with your subjects you can meet me too as I'm the last person on the list after the teachers." He told her where she said politely," I'm fine." For she rather preferred reading on her own to avoid any distractions from boys.

A table away from where the duo were, one of the boys, stared at November. The same girl who had turned down his offer to 'befriend' her.

But within, him, the boy needed more than that..

And so, he glared in her direction.

Now after lunch, Tristan escorted November to the VP 's office. Reason was because after he'd seen her in a hurry to leave, and when he'd asked her about her whereabouts, and she told him, he insisted on following her as his class was just a few walks away from there.

November, however, now alone stood at the door after the pushy senior had disappeared into one of the classes, and knocked politely before she then gained access to step inside.

The person swivelled to face her briefly with her forest green eyes, level and serious. The woman looked close to her early thirties or so and was dressed in red tuxedo and matching pants that complimented her skin and hair.

The red paint over her lips, curved while she arched her perfectly shaped eyebrows at the student with odd eyes.

"How may I help you?" Came her sharp voice that demanded for an answer.

" I got transferred newly and-"

" November Grandeur?" she cut in," Is it?"

" No ma'am." The girl corrected,"November Grant."

The woman's gaze dropped to look at the files on her desk, and November didn't miss how her long lashes, dusted against her cheeks on each side. She was really beautiful-

" I'm sorry." the woman told her with utter boredom to lace through her voice," You were transferred wrongly."
