Prologue

" Get back here!" The pattern of footsteps followed behind me. I could hear the men laugh and yell at me, telling me that they just wanted to have fun. I clutch the torn-off clothes to my chest as I scream out to leave me alone. Running out of the darkness I dash across the street, hoping someone would hear me. I spot someone and yell out to them.

" Please! Sir, please help me!" I run to him but I feel a hand grab my shirt. He slams my body into the ground, making me gasp out for breath. I feel his dirty hands around my neck, warning me, wanting me to yell out. " Sir, ple- Ack!"

His grip tightens. I kick and gasp for breath, but fail when I feel another pair of hands hold my legs down, spreading them out.

" You thought that man was going to save you! Dumb bitch, who would be that dumb enough to take on three men by themselves!? " Another pair of hands grab my body, tearing the rest of my shirt open. I try to scream out but the pressure on my neck hurts too much.

"Someone... please..." Their vile laughs surround me, making me shake in fear as tears roll down my cheeks. All of a sudden bright light appears. ' Please help me!' The voice inside my head screams out. I hear the men curse and quickly get up from the ground and run back into the alley. Panic sets in as I try to get up and get out of the road. The light comes closer and I shut my eyes tight.

BANG!

The feelings that were in me were gone I didn't feel anything at all. Did I even get hit? I open my eyes and all I see is a car driving off into the distance. I felt myself fall onto the ground, gasping for breath. I look around me and then my breath stops.

I see my body lying still, completely broken. My head was twisted all the way around, my eyes were rolled backward, and my mouth hung open. I don't move because I'm frozen with fear, I really can't move. My body starts to feel lighter, my eyes look down, and see my body becoming transparent. I have a sense of calmness within me. Tears stop flowing down my cheeks and I can feel myself smiling.

" I'm free... Thank you merciful gods of death. For taking me out of this hell of a world." I feel my body becoming lighter and lighter and then gone, letting my body sleep. I feel at peace until I hear a cold sinister laugh.
